Here's hoping for tight joints, non flaky chrome paint (as plagued the Henkei versions of the Strike Planes) and a non-deformed rubber nosecone.

Generations Dirge and Thrust were quite solid so I'm not to worried. Takara/Hasbro seem to be maintaining them.

When last I checked Twitter, Ramjet was at 75% of stock sold, Cheetor at 60%. Let's hope they don't all vanish within a day to give people plenty of time to grab them if they want them. One-day sellouts are never a friend to folk away from their computers, waiting on payday, etc.
I'm curious as to unit numbers for these as in whether they have the same production run. Cheetor may have sold more units and have a lower percentage of figures sold so far as more were made for instance. I have no idea. I ask as I would have surmised Cheetor to be more popular due to how fast the Animated Botcon boxset shifted.

I was wondering about that too. FP usually make more of the one they expect to sell better. There pretty much has to be at least 1800-2000 Ramjets and I can't quite imagine them making many more Cheetors.

Thanks, Andy. Much appreciated.
(I can't believe I'm spending this much on a Deluxe toy. I'm trying not to think about it too much...)

You should see the total, it makes me weep.
It's actually less than last years PCP/Cyclonus order but I did it as one order rather than two.

So with the United Stepper exclusive and some previous Japanese exclusives, they open pre-orders for a month, then make the number of toys that were pre-ordered and send them out a few months later. Is it just me, or does that seem like a better, or at least fairer, system???

My card just got hit. Doing the maths and will start PMing people the price. If by some miracle the package got through without customs the price is bargain like.

Having now obtained a bank statement to check how much Ramjet cost in paper pounds all-in inc p and p (the latter of which was horrendous btw) I think this will be my first and last club toy purchase. I will enjoy the figure when it comes, but in the cold light of day I just can't justify the outlay in future cases. I note with interest that Ramjet has cost me approx £15/$25 MORE than one year's sub for the club (6 fanzines, 1 deluxe toy, online exclusive fiction on the website).
So, yeah, I got caught up on the hype and the cost smarts though I still look forward to the toy very much, but er, a one-off for me I think!

I was thinking that the price didn't seem that much more than the price I paid but forgot about cuta. A single figure may just escape without getting caught though.

I decided not to give the assholes any more of my money so didn't get the toy and when my membership expires in 15th I shall not renew it. If they can't operate like a proper business and if an international club is fucking customers over because they don't live in america they can shove it.

I hope you sent them that feedback Andy. More politely of course!
I don't mind that they exist and are American, but I do mind that they are the official INTERNATIONAL fanclub, since they obviously aren't, and Hasbro has actively refused to do things with fans in other countries because TFCC cover 'everything'

I don't understand why they don't just create additional "bases" like one in Europe, one in Australia etc, so they can be more accommodating to the worldwide market
It is a bit ridiculous that we have to wait for weeks extra to receive our purchases, magazines etc or have to pay at least twice as much due to shipping costs (and the registration fees are more expensive for us too)

They do not like more work. In fairness they are a small operation and I believe them when they say they are run off their feet most of the year as it is, but if they are too small to do the job they need to expand or stop doing it.

Still, it is extra cost for them, they don't want to do it so the cost is passed onto the member instead.

An e-mail from TFCC states these will not ship until after Botcon, so probably looking at July I imagine.
