Comically bad recoloured?

Comically bad recoloured? In some places yes (they seem to have only had the black printing plates rather than the lineart, so anything drawn in yellow, for example, is missing so sometimes characters talk to thin air). Other places, it is actually much nicer!

Could have been worst - they could have been coloured by Nel

I've finished scanning issue 1! I've scanned all of it since this one is a mashup of several US issues, and hopefully someone can identify what comes with what (I don't have access to my US collection) Of interest is that these early issues have actually been recoloured! Buster becomes a ginger! More interesting is that they didn't have all the lineart. It seems they had the black printing plates rather than the actual lineart to colour, since parts of the original that are yellow lines are missing! Download the whole issue here: www.mediafire.com/?d104mxk0vbqy8phI'll scan in anything of note from the other issues.

I like their style - it makes drawing Transformation sequences a whole lot easier.

Okay, my first attempt at translating. There were some bits I didn't understand, they should be obvious since they don't make sense. Any help would be welcome! Attack At Dawn: In which Quickmix guns down a Minibot

This is fascinating. Do there appear to be many text stories in the other issues?

This is fascinating. Do there appear to be many text stories in the other issues? Yes, each issue seems to have its own unique text story. The ones in issues 2 and 4 are translated, with the full translated text up on the tfwiki, the rest are coming!

Good stuff. Do we know if the Die Transformer US#1-4 reprint (mentioned on the wiki) had the same kind of colouring?

If anyone wants to start bagsying issues, let me know. I'll sell them on at cost, which is about £3 each and I can pass them on at the January meet. Providing I've scanned them all of course!

Do you have any of the issues that recolour the 5-page B&W UK stories?

Do you have any of the issues that recolour the 5-page B&W UK stories? -Ralph Sadly not. I am told only one issue actually does that, that is Special #1 and recolours Aspects of Evil part 1 and Double Deal of the Century.

I wouldn't mind snagging a couple of the issues in due course (not particular about which though, if you don't mind laying aside a couple for me I can get back to you in the New Year and sort out postage costs and stuff (as I won't be able to make the January meet unfortunately).
