I've not seen these about anywhere, but I've been collecting cover images of some rather strange German Transformer comics. These seem to mostly reprint UK stories, but whoever drew the covers were on a lot of special drugs it seems. That looks like they used Lee first page of part 2 then had a pile of Jeff Anderson art to look at - going by the style of Optimus.

I've got one German issue. Funnily enough, it's that issue above with Double Deal of the Century. I'm sure I bought it after someone mentioned them here last year.

Don't these issue have [going by the cover - all the covers] that something about Optimus & group of kids interacting while the comic is reprinted.
One of those covers does look good compared to some of the others - the city of fear one.

The deed is done!
After postage and paypal's horrid exchange rate, it ended up at £2.85 per issue, if anyone is interested once I get them I will scan them, then we can divvy them up. If not, hey, I get to keep 21 German issues of Transformers!
