Most recently, I have finally acquired all of the SOS-dan and various minions...all except Kyon...but I never really feel like I need him around, since I envision myself as the Kyon anyways... I also have cheerleaders Haruhi and Asahina And (not pictured) a regular Haruhi (the one in the first picture is summer school version) Finally, I have a Dan Chou armband and have bought the entire Season 1 DVD set! Still not a SINGLE Transformer in my collection to speak of... Pete

I'm happy to report I have my Gurren Lagann DVD set. I'll throw up some pictures later.
It's well worth the one hundred pounds. No where does it inform you that along with the whole series, you also get:
2 CD set of Gurren Lagann Music Dai-Gurren Dan Arm Patch Yoko Skull Hair Braid
there is one big bog that opens up like a Gunman to fit the three hardback cd cases into it. Each hardback case has 2 DVDs.
There are also extras - the Making of Gurren Lagann.
It takes us to Gainax studios (which looks like a run down shack - wich is all the more awesome!). The interview is conducted by the voice actor for Yoko who is really cute and dressed in a school girl uniform.
Overall well worth the money :-)
Pete
EDIT: Also forgot to mention the set comes with Simon's Core Drill - and the drill has an L.E.D. in it - so it lights up and shines Green with Spiral Power!

After a really sucky financial last few months which saw my collection weaned to the bear minimum - I am finally filling it back up again with FUN! :-)
On their way to me now are:
Soul of Chogokin Ideon - which I have wanted for years now, but strangely kept ending up getting SOC figures that I didn't care about - why? - I haven't the faintest clue!! Now I will finally have the one I actually wanted - Ideon! Why do I want Ideon? Not because he's less ridiculous than any of the other SOC robots from the 70s super robot anime - but because Ideon is actually from an amazingly epic awesome compelling profound anime!
Mastergrade 1/100 Guncannon & Guntank! FINALLY!! I have the version 2.0 RX-78-2 and will be very happy to finally complete the original Mobile Suite Gundam Trio. Now if I could only find the 1/400 White Base battle ship. The last one I saw for a reasonable price was at BBTS, but it sold out before I could snag it ! Dang blast it! Maybe one day....
Mastergrade 1/100 Victory Gundam - technically I already have one. But I accidentally fractured one of the microscopic hinges on his shoulder while building him. It's not broken - it's just fractured - but this means it will break...so... this is my replacement! Obviously I'm not going to start from scratch since I have the 2 core fighters, the arms, and the mainbody built. I'm just going to continue on with a non-fractured arm hinge. Pain in the ass - yes. Necessary - yes.
1/72 Messiah Alto Custom - similar to the V Gundam story. Only I didn't fracture anything on my old Alto...I literally...I don't know what the hell happened - but one piece went missing and I couldn't complete the shoulder. I'm not that upset since I also screwed up the panel lining. No more panel lining with unwashable markers! Back to Technic Pencils for me! Anyways - Alto I'll need to restart from scratch. The only plus side is that my old kit has parts to build his Super Pack - so the final product will be a VF-25F + Super pack. He shall go nicely with my existing Ozma Messiah.
The VF-25 models by Bandai in 1/72 scale are really amazing. Very fine pieces!
1/8 Sheryl Nome NA version - this will be my first pornographic toy. It's "cast off" which means the clothes all come off and she's in a doggie style fixed pose. I didn't know the clothes came off when I got it (honest!). I only got it because of the slutty outfit and the pose and the bullet between her legs. It's all supposed to be kind of a gag homage to WWII nose art anyways. That she can be totally naked is - I guess - an added benefit.
What does surprise me, however, is that it's not Ranka Lee. I mean - technically I am a Ranka fan, not a Sheryl fan... yet here I am getting my hands on a Sheryl doll. Why? At least in the case of my Minmey Doll, it's just because there are NO Misa dolls - and so I just kind of settled for Minmey... But there are TONS...well...lots...of Ranka dolls. So...why didn't I get one?
I need to get a Ranka doll. But...I have a problem. I don't know which one. The movie/construction version "emotion style" one just doesn't suit me. I kind of like Super Dimmensional Cinderela - which is also cast off - but...then again I don't...I'm not into the dress. Ranka Nian-Nian waitress, on the other hand, is kind of...well...non-dynamic. The face is just not cute - it's too plastic - something's not right. And finally - the Ranka NA, which is also cast off like Sheryl NA, is just not something I'm interested in - mainly because the version that is most available has...blond hair.... which is wrong, because Ranka has green hair - and the green haired one is a super hard to find exclussive...(of course)... So.... I dunno what to do about this.
Hi Metal VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie - FINALLY!! I have been dreaming of Nekki Basara's valkyrie getting a decent toy instead of that utter crap model from 1990 whatever, not to mention the even more utter crap toys from the same period. Bandai delivers!! This will be my most anticipated addition to my collection this year - no doubt! Best of all, the VF-19S from Diamond force is already on the way! AWESOME! I do hope Bandai makes more of the valkyrie from Macross 7 (not to mention the key ones from SDFM as well as new 1/100 scale VF-25s, since their first attempt (the VF100 line) was apparently a major let down (so I've heard).
1/100 MG Gundam Exia - you know - the one I built, and then had to sell (sniff) and now will be able to build again...
and drum roll...
1/72 VF-1 Minmey Special!
This is from Hasegawa and will be my first glue-model. I will paint the pieces first and then glue it together. With any luck, I won't fail! :-)
Can't wait for this stuff to arrive!

It was kind of a joke. If you watch an episode of Time Force you'll see in the future scenes there is a Megazord in the cityscape that uses a giant hammer to launch the time machine across the tracks. I am unsure if there was a toy produced, but this metal marvel from the future was pretty cool.

Are you after any Wildforce zords mate? I also have a boxed original Megazord too Time Force is pretty darn awesome. Been watching the series on and off and once you get round the idea of having the Pink Ranger as the group leader it kinda grows on you. A toy of Circuit would be awesome ===KEN

Q-Rex RULES.
I'm still awaiting the arrival of a certain Eternian Dentist and gap toothed Skeletor VS Pack but nothing has come yet. Getting a bit concerned. I'm hoping its not fallen into CUTA clutches.

My latest aquisition is the VF-19Kai Fire Valkyrie from Bandai's 1/100 VF-Hi-Metal line. I really like this bird! (clicking on the thumbnail will increase the picture size) dyrl.pl/detale.html?id=967Pete

Ah Guntank. For some reason my favourite mecha from Gundam. I don't actually know why - in a setting that already is set up to accept giant humanoid mecha there is something ludicrous about Guntank, a mecha that is trying to be a tank to make itself more practical. (That said, that very aspect of the guntank by which is refuses to fit the normative values of the series may be what endears it to me).
The Hi-Metal -19kai looks quite nice too. (Not nice enough to spend actual money on mind you, given that I already have Bandai's previous attempt at a Fire Valkyrie, purchased at my first Transforce convention.). Not as nice as Yamato's YF-19 Alpha One, and the repaints thereof, but then I was always biased towards Isamu's version of that airframe anyways.

You might be interested in knowing that Yamato will also be producing a Fire Valkyrie in the 1/60 scale. Personally, I've decided to switch fullswing towards Bandai for Macross Valkyrie - specifically the Hi-Metal 1/100 line. I have high hopes for it. I just got sick and tired of Yamato's quality control problems. Their stuff looks brilliant, but then it cracks and breaks - or is often cracked and broken out of the box.
I know Bandai will produce more VF-1s - the VF-1A from DYRL (Hikaru) is on the way, and I've heard they're doing the YF-21 from Macross Plus. A VF-19 from Diamond force is already out.
I'm really hoping for either a VT-1 or a VF-1D because the trainer is my favorite VF-1 and holds the most sentimental value for me.
As for the Guntank - I totally agree with you as to the reasons why its' endearing. I guess the idea was to have it be a kind of long range artillery support piece. Nothing like it was ever done again in the Gundam universe - unless you count the Gundam Igloo "regular" double-barrel tank (forgot the official designation) - which is an awesome, albeit normal/non robot tank in its' own right.

I just got sick and tired of Yamato's quality control problems. Their stuff looks brilliant, but then it cracks and breaks - or is often cracked and broken out of the box. I have been fortunate enough not to have a problem with a Yamato product since the original 1/60th VF-1S (I snapped the peg off the canopy, so that is as much pilot error as factory error). Everything else I have bought has been rock solild (my VF-0S is missing the coverplate for the subsidiary engines in Battroid mode, but that is because it broke off when the 0S pitched backwards of the DVD stand and slammed into the floor at a rate of knots and short of actually giving the toys SWAG armour technology there isn't really a way around that). Probably wouldn't get a Yamato Fire Valk to be honest. I like the design but it is not may favourite incarnation of the frame. I'm still tempted sometimes to pick up one of their other 19's though, given the designs status as my joint second-place favourite Variable Fighter. Hmmm a 1/100th Diamond Force version. Interesting.... One of the things that was noticeable when I rewatched the movie edit of MSG recently was that Tomino seemed to have thought a bit about the whys and wherefores of the Federation Mobile Suits. Most Gundam shows have diversity of designs of the hero suits just because (Wing, 00 etc) but in MSG it actually feels more like it is the result of the fictional designers not being sure what was going to work out, so you get the debate between those who think speed will carry the day and those who figure that "firepower always wins, and besides we already know how to make tanks". I think I had line art for that in an art book at one point. For some reason I thought it was from 08th MS Team though (one of the shows I have not seen due to a lack of a release over here). Karl

I've army-built 'a lot' of 'Power Ranger' like ninjas for custom Christmas decorations. I'll be deploying the finished batch in November to here, there and everywhere.
Not sure what the toyline was called, but they were poundshop items, but... very, very good items.
Pics to follow. I just need to find something to garnish these off with. If anyone wants some ninja action on thier Christmas tree this year, give me a pm.
