"Henshin Robo" literally means "changeable robot".
Interesting. That looks like a sell-sheet for most of the Genesis Climber Mospeada toy-line (except for the original Tread, which seems to have been released at the very death of the line in a limited quantity).
Interesting that the only copyright notices on it are Gakken's, which makes me think that it was a direct release, rather than a licensing thing. The "story" page is interesting - not because it has a fairly good summary of the backstory of GCM Mo but because of the three language format - it does seem to confirm the intent for a mass release in the English speaking world. (I've often wondered why, given that Mospeada was assimilated into and rewritten into the last third of the hybrid mutant that is "Robotech" for America, Matchbox didn't make more effort to make use of the GCM Mospeada toys as part of their "Robotech" toy-line. The fact that a lot of effort seems to have gone into the Henshin Robo release makes me wonder if Gakken simply weren't prepared to part with the merchandising rights. (In counterpoint to Macross, where the overseas merchandising rights were given in trade in exchange for the cash to finish the show and then sold on by the second part - creating the Mighty Macross Legal Tangle that we live with today.))
Thanks for scanning that and putting it up Phil, it is a very interesting thing to see - all the original Mospeada stuff I have acquired has long since been parted from its box, paperwork etc by previous owners so it was an interesting historical document.

Still in tears over missing the boat on getting a Nickelodeon Leonardo. Will have to wait til September like everyone else and not be so bitter about it Been grabbing lots of TMNT items. Carded Princess Mitsu from TMNT 3, 2k3 Sewer Lid Launcher, and some other things that have escaped memory. Also been getting the old Hasbro WWE figures too. They may have flaws, but have a certain charm about them. Boss Man, Typhoon, and Sgt Slaughter have joined the rumble!

Had to wrap spoiler tags around this 'non-worksafe' image . Paul A has already been traumatized by its sheer horror. You've been warned. Ferbus wants a hug!!

Storage Shell Leonardo, Sewer Lid Launcher, Ravishing Reporter April O Niel, and some others are now mine. There is another who I wont reveal yet, as the unveiling of Ferbus was too much it seemed

Eggbods is the latest failed toy-line to hit Poundland. I picked up Eggbot. It's rubbish! Cheap plastic, doesn't walk far. No wonder this line tanked at full retail!

I'm also experiencing strange fits of nostalgia...I am going to be getting the Super Robot Chogokin Dekaranger and the Joint Gattai Deka Ranger; the latter because of the relatively ok looking vehicle modes, the former because of the wonderful robot mode. I can't help myself - I LOVE police type robots, sirens and official markings and all that... I never imagined myself getting anything from what is effectively "Power Rangers" but...somehow...when it's not Power Rangers" but instead Super Sentai SPD Then...everything is ok...

Yeah, I know Patlabor - saw some episodes and kind of dug the mecha - but ultimately despite everything, I passed on it...believe it or not... But then, I guess I just never gave it a seriouse chance :-)

Marvel Legends build a figure Apocalypse plus four of the figure it came with plus Ghost rider, about 6 of the newer MOTU figures and a V-wing. 50p each. 3 Megazords incomplete for a couple of quid.
I like summer car boot sales.
I'd forgotten about Walkabout, TMNT got pretty out there for a while.

I know what you mean. Lots of goofy mutants made it like Get A Long on roids. I am buying all the ones I missed out 20 years ago.

Tomorrow or Thursday I should be happily in posession of the version 2.1 VF-1D with option parts. Supposedly this one will NOT have shoulders which break, and WILL have side-covers, and seats that can mimmick the "extended seats" pose in battroid mode.
yay.
I'll also have Macross The First #3 (manga)
Pics and review as soon as I have the time... :-)

Am I remembering right that there are some insane colour variations on Ray Fillet? I haven't got an old Lees at hand to check.

Now this is what I call a valkyrie! :-) A nice pristine low flight-hours airframe too.... :-) One of the new releases with the options parts I take it? I like the crew seats - now all you need is a very badly damaged building to scale and you can reenact one of the classic "first meetings" in animation... Karl

TMNT Heavy Metal Raph, Playmates Toys (1991). Take a mega-breath, cuz Heavy Metal Raph's here to play! And with metal-maniac Raph's decibel-deafening duets, the Foot will fall fast. This headbangin' raff rifter rifles of rhythms like the heavy metal mutant he is! He's tuned and tight and ready for a fight. Raph's even heeled with with spike brute boots to keep bogus bass players from playing his game. So crank it up and turn it over or be sucked into the gruesome depths of disco. Heavy Metal Raph will never die!
