Now this is more like the Playmates who made the great 90's Star Trek figures rather than the Playmates who made the dreadful 2009 Star Trek and Terminator lines! -Ralph Speaking of which take a peak at this week's top 5 toys. Bare pegs in ASDA today

My Asda was the same last night. They must have had some in as when I was last in on Saturday they had the out of stock tags on the TMNT begs, but last night the begs were empty and the price tags clearly visible. i was not amused as that was the only reason I went out of my way to go to asda.
For a moany adult not to get his toys aside, it is great to see that todays kids are buying the toyline.

Donatello has been opened. Man the smell of him is amazing. Not had such a pungent smell from a new toy since the CB 11 Doctors set. Not a bad wee action figure. Only his upset expression lets it down as it makes the figure look rather dour but overall the quality is high for the original price point. Now this is more like the Playmates who made the great 90's Star Trek figures rather than the Playmates who made the dreadful 2009 Star Trek and Terminator lines! -Ralph Donnys expression is a strange one when he is the only one of the Turtles to not have his teeth showing. Did they not want to sculpt and paint the gap in his teeth that his cartoon model has?

There have been sighting on TMNT figures at £2.50 in Tesco's. I am just about to walk to mine and see if this is true or if they have any left.
Edit: Okay not long back from Tesco and the figures were indeed scanning at £2.50. I managed to find a Shredder, which after ordering Splinter yesterday from Amazon is the only figure I required. He wasn't on the shelf with the other TMNT stuff and there was no ticket there so i don't know if the price was shown at full price or the discounted price.

Maybe it is there and I am missing it, but are they repainting the classic figures and why do they need repaints? I still want these figures, but only if I could find them for at £10 at the most each.

Thanks for the heads up. I am looking for some extra Kraang and Foot Ninjas. Will check tomorrow.
I think the repaints is to sell more of the same mould. I guess some just prefer their TMNT to have matching skin tone.

I was in Tesco at lunchtime and Turtles are back to full price, though they did have Dogpound on the shelf. Asda also had Fishface last night but as of yet no sign of a Metalhead.

I'm owner of the European release of Metal Head. Fair warning for those who are after him; the missile launching mechanism has been removed. And while he still has the corresponding hole in his palm and rear of his elbow, the projectile can't fit in there as the forearm doesn't continue the canal (I discovered this by accident when I tried to force the missile in and the hand broke off). There is, in fact, no storage for the projectile at all, making it a hugely redundant accessory that can't even be held.

That sucks about Metalhead. I am sure I read about the missile thing somewhere, I think amazon reviews for the figure.
£2.50 is the most I would have paid for an April, so i hope you are enjoying making her do dirty poses Mr Hero. I would have tried to see if I can make any of Donnies dreams come true.

I just had a look and indeed it was your good self.
Anyway I wouldn't pay full price for them. I got the 4 Turtles and a Foot Soldier for £7.50 each at Sainsburys in early february, kraang in Asda a few weeks ago for £5 and Shredder for £2.50 at Tesco. I am still awaiting a Splinter from Amazon when they were £5 last week, a day before the Tesco reductions.
I also want the Classic Turtles but I have been hoping the drop to £10. Cheapest i have seen them is £13.49 currently on Amazon.

Metalheads are pretty easy to find for me, and run around $8.88 usd. I can grab them for any fans who want a working one.

I have the US release of Metalhead. There isn't much of a mechanism to begin with. Firing the missile mainly revolves around pushing the end that sticks out of his elbow (like the G2 Cyberjets).
Metalhead should have more accessories anyway. The original toy did. As much as I like this new version, I feel the lack of accessories left me a little shortchanged. Best off as a bargain bin figure.

Splinter has arrived. He is a bit naff, but I know that is the same of every character other than the four Turtles from this toyline.

Splinter looks like a llama. I think its the kabuki-like paint job that especially lets the figure down.
I will give it plus-points for being a Splinter figure without a dolls clothes kimono.
The mutagen crystal cane is still yet to be explained. I am hoping it has a cool backstory.

I swear, while not being so wonderfully loony as the vehicles from the original line... the new vehicles still manage to capture the same sense of fun as the originals. Mellowed, but still feel like they have a simular spirit.

In addition to the plastic glob projectiles, the UK releases of the Ooze figures also include a sachet of Mutagen Ooze.

I did pick up the Donnie and Mikey Ooze figure a few weeks ago at Tesco for £5.50 each. I had £4 of vouchers to use up, then an hour later regretted it. They are still unopened laying on the floor. They were a spur of the moment purchase that I shouldn't have made. It didn't help I was going to tale them pack, then left the receipt in a bag with some rolls and a chocolate orange. The dogs ate the food and the receipt was ruined.
Today I got the Classic's Mikey and Donnie figures. I haven't taken them out of the packaging yet as they look so good in them. I will do so very soon. But for £21.99 for the pair, they are much bigger than I expected. I see that Amazon have put Donnie's price up to £10.09 since I ordered these on Monday. A whopping 9p Increase.

has this happened to anyone else's Kraang? I found the limbs has fallen off mine and the rest of the Kraang blob is drying up and crumbling away as well. He has been sitting on a shelf for months, so only discovered this.

I have seen reports of this. Appears to be a common problem with the toy. Some folk had their Krang disintegrate on the card not long after it came out.

I wasn't sure if I read about there being issues or not, but I am not really surprised the rubber has disintigrated. I just thought it would maybe be a years rather than months before it got to this state..

Consider this rumnor and take with a grain of salt. I'll get the link in a bit. But a Walmart employee supossedly found a list of upcoming TMNT mainline toys in their systems, including two new vehicles, and a ton of Basic figures. Beware, there are potential minor spoilers for character appearances in Season 2. Read at own risk. Toy found: Squirrelnoid- Confirmed to appear in season 2 Slash- Confirmed to appear Tiger Claw- Confirmed to appear Mutagen Man- Confirmed to appear Casey Jones- Confirmed to appear Robotic Footsoldier- !!! Makes sense given that Shredder and the Kraang are now working together Rocksteady- !!! Bebop- !!! Rahzar- !!! Kirby Bat- Wingnut maybe? Leo the Knight Raph the Barbarian Donny the Wizard Mikey the Elf Those are what I remember off hand. There's a few more, but I need to dig the list up.
