Probably earlier waves.
I've found that amazon (US) are doing good deals with TMNT stuff much like with recent TF releases. I picked up a Shredder II for £10 and I'm not even sure he's out in the UK yet.

They're typically $8.88 in stores here. I can grab any dude you want.

I picked up the Classic Rocksteady and Bebop from Argos on Friday, as they were down to £11.99 each. I was planning on treating myself to them in celebration of getting a job, but I was in a really crappy mood for most of last week, so these are my comfort toys to cheer me up. They are fantastic sculpts and a great representation of Shredder's goons. While the aren't 80's/90's tv show accurate, they are a great representation of a modern update on them. They are both shorter than Turtles, and Rocksteady is also rather scrawny when compared to the beefcake physic of Bebop. The Rocksteady leg fix was simpler than expected, but it did take me a while to do it as it was rather fiddly and I was scared pf breaking him. He is so much better once it has been done though. I am also waiting on some nineties movie figures from Hong Kong, that I ordered off ebay last Sunday. I have no clue if they are knock offs or official figures, but at £13.29 posted for a set of six, I thought the risk would be worth it. They do look nice in pics, but will they be in hand? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271513173315?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

They have been out on the UK for a few months now. The Turtles I have only seen in Hamleys in person, but i got mine of Amazon. Bebop and Rocksteady are in the likes of John Lewis and Argos over here, so not too hard to find.

Movie Shredder (2014) is mine and am writing up a review. I've been putting off acquiring Bebop and Rocksteady for a while. What is the leg fix about? I may need to know about it . I bought that KO movie set a couple of months ago. Not bad for bootlegs. The black Foot Ninja repaint is easily the best of the lot.

Rocksteady's lower legs have been assembled backwards, so his calf is at the front. This has caused some issues with standing and posing. I found a link on youtube where a guy talked about how to fix it, but couldn't find an example of someone actually doing it.
I had to dip the legs in hot water for 30 seconds or so, until it was soft enough to unpeg, remove and turn around. It does look so much better when fixed, but I can understand why people wouldn't want to risk it.
Ah well so they are bootlegs. It doesn't bother me if they are, as long as they look as good in hand as they do in pics. The paint jobs do look beter than the original movie figures, as they don't have the yellow spots all over them.

After nearly 4 weeks, I finally received my bootleg TMNT Movie Star figures. Looking at the quality of the figures themselves, these were most likely made from the same moulds as the official releases, only with a different plastic used. The paint jobs is a bit sloppy on the figures, but they would be great custom bases if you could paint. The best figure without a doubt was the awesome foot soldier, while the Splinter I received loosk like he needs put down. Check out these eyes. Attachments:

At least he has pupils, unlike the original Spinter toy . Going to check my KO for the eyes now.

I picked up a Squirrelanoid from Argos yesterday. At first it was buyers remorse as I didn't think he was worth the £7.50 I paid for him, but he has grown on me. No elbow or knee articulation, is rather narrow and has a very loose gimmick for the inner mouth, but rather nice to look at. I would say he does feel more like a toy that isn't worth more than £5 though.

Squirrelanoid is certainly worth a bargain bin pickup. I have one myself.
Movie Splinter, Invisible Man Raphael, Rahzar and Movie Van are all mine through Amazon USA. The van worked out to as little as £18 (inc postage) which is a much better deal than the £40 asking price Argos and others want for it.

I was surprised to see the TMNT Classic figures in B&M at £12.99. Not toys I would have expected to appear in a discount store if I am honest, though only £2 cheaper than their RRP.

Fair play. Was it all the classics or just the turtles?
Having fun with the movie van. Lots of stickers to apply and you have to clip the wheels on. Biggest downside is that only 3 figures fit in there. Movie van looks like a news van modded, which makes for a sensible origin.
I pretty much have all the TMNT vans going except for the original Shellraiser and the upcoming Party Wagon evolution.
Opened up Rahzar as well last night. Could do with more articulation and his arm firing mechanism is simular to Metalhead's, only worse. The skeleton arm missile just won't stay in and like the latter the arm missile is flick activated.

They only had the Turtles in the Kilmarnock store, but giving how cheap Rocksteady and bebop were before the new Argos catalogue came out, I wouldn't be surprised now to see them in store by the end of the year.

Rahzar is actually a bit worse than Squirellanoid. Squirrelanoid's firing gimmick at least works. I am inquiring to see if it may be just my figure though. Both are stuck in 'battle poses' like a lot of old TMNT are.
Movie April's are also said to be hard to find.

I've only seen rahzar once. Movie has sorta decimated the regular line, with no one stocking that anymore. I also have no issues finding movie april over here. Or any other movie toy.

Hoping to acquire some Halfshell Heroes when they are out a bit more. The ebay markups are unreasonable.

If anyone is looking for a cheap Anchovy Alley Pop-Up Pizza Playeset, they are reduced to £10 in Debenhams. Well they were in the St Enoch Centre one today.
