The cheapest I've seen on there in the last week or two was £55 BIN but that didn't last long. The last one I was bidding on in an open auction went to £73 Inc postage, that took me by surprise because until then nothing has gone over fifty. That was the point I realised the supply had dried up and I panic bought at £70.
I must take the plunge and get history 6.

You must.
You cannot have an incomplete set of History of the Daleks.

The Silurians have arrived! Wasn't expecting them so quickly. I do like the way Character do an announcement and offer the toy for sale when they actually have it ready to ship. Boom. We only knew these existed a week ago. If only they could do the B&M ones like this. And just this week pre-orders went up for Hasbro product due in...10 months. Character's B&M distribution is maddening but they know how to do online exclusives properly. -Ralph

One of the 1st Doc TARDIS sets I put an offer in for just went for £90.
A reminder: the RRP is £20 and they would be plentiful in B&M right now if they hadn't been scalped to fuck!

I'm not convinced the numbers produced are right to start with. I mean, locally around the four B&Ms I have access to, as far as I'm aware only one of them got a supply of TARDIS sets, once. Given there seemed to be 12 in the Giant Robot delivery there can't have been more than 12 TARDIS sets, and that was two months ago. Even without scalpers that isn't enough to satisfy demand.
Of the eight sets B&M have done, only the first two hung around for any length of time as far as I remember. The light blue Pertwee one and the Regeneration Tom Baker one. Since then they've all vanished immediately - notably the Shada and Androzani sets, which went onto eBay immediately for silly money (the Shada one still only appears for over a hundred).
I'd love to know the difference in numbers produced of the TARDIS sets and the three figure packs; the latter always seem to be available one way or the other over time, but the TARDIS sets never are. It feels to me as though B&M aren't actually looking at what they're selling. If they produced more TARDIS sets, more would flood eBay and the prices would come down quicker - but B&M would still be selling them.

Yeah, there's never a rush on the 3-packs and they usually end up discounted. Dalek and TARDIS sets: unless you are in the store the day they come in there's no chance.

Panic setting in.
Are you watching B&M?!
I had unexpected luck in the quest for History 6. I was watching the cheapest sealed one on eBay and got a seller offer reducing it, so I've managed to get one for £27 including recorded delivery. Minus fees, the seller probably about broke even on that. Don't get it, but there were are.

One went for £120. I now understand why sellers aren't accepting my 'double RRP' offers. I don't agree, but I understand.
Utter madness though.

I'm still checking shops regularly. Not really got any hope of finding anything and I'm tempted to buy some of those bobble Daleks just so I can set fire to them I'm so sick of looking at them, but my local places never had the Five Doctors set. Surely we're due a restock of that and the Earthshock one.

Hey,
Don't know if this will be of any use to anyone, but... my dad collected some of the Character Options figures when Doctor Who was revived. He's decided to clear them out now, as he needs the space, and will be punting them on eBay. Before he does, I wondered if there were any that anyone here is after? They're all still MOC, and from the 9th, 10th and 11th Doctor era - no Classic stuff I'm afraid.
And yes, Destroyed Cassandra is one of them.
Cheers,
Jonathan

I still need the Cyberleader variant Five Doctors set. There are still quite a lot that show up on eBay so I'm trying to knock one off for under 30.

They are £13 in my local along with the regular 5 Docs set. I got the Cyber Leader one and am waiting for a further price drop so I can get a regular Cyberman.
I've given up on the 1st Doc TARDIS set for now. They're still going north of £80!!!
