Big CB ad on the back of the new DWM highlighting the TEN figure series 1...... plus 5 chase figures. I can only see 8 figures on the ad though: Doctor Amy Cyberman Blue Dalek Red Dalek Weeping Angel Silurian Smiler Chase Figures: Clear Angel Raggedy Doctor Long coat Amy King's Arms Doctor variant Silurian Chase Toys fill me with rage. www.characterbuilding.eu/ for a downloadable poster and chances to win.

Yup: that's what the last couple of posts are about. Yes, Ken I did find Amy Pond. She was in my bed with her skirt off. They're out at Argos already (388 8865, but not on the website) but it seems even the standard figures have skewed distributions: merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/character-building-micro-figures-leaflet/Box of 36:
Eleventh Doctor ( Brown Jacket) 8/36 Cyberman 5/36 Drone Dalek 5/36 Amy Pond 4/36 Weeping Angel (screaming face) 4/36 Dalek Strategist 3/36 Silurian General Restac 3/36 Smiler (Angry face) 2/36 Weeping Angel (serene face) 1/36 The Eleventh Doctor (blue shirt) 1/36 And that doesn't[/b] include the "super rare" chase figure, so they're going to be less than 1 per case each ! Think I'll stick to the toop builder boxes

I've had the blind packs in today (along with the small Tardis and Progenitor sets). They seem easier to distinguish than the Lego Minifigures. You can feel, for example, the Angel's wings or the Silurian's ridged head; Daleks are obviously easy to distinguish. Of course, you can't feel the different colours and chase schemes.

The H.M. ARMED FORCES ones are compatible and could be used as regular army or UNIT troops!

I hadn't thought of HMAF as UNIT, what a good idea. However, if you're after general military sets, then COBI is the best bet. www.cobi.pl/en/toys/small-army/

I've got 5 Cobi military mini figures. I liked the older version that had Lego Men style faces but the ones I got from Amazon had the newer 'with noses' faces....

Phil has had what can best be described as a result. I bought the last four packs my local Argos had:
Pack 1: Silurian General Restac Pack 2: Amy Pack 3: (copped a feel, obvious what it was shape wise) Red Dalek Pack 4: Cyberman
NO MATT SMITH. RESULT!

I shall pass on this due to my distaste for right-wing tabloid rags and will instead take the figure roulette test come the next day of pay!

Um...... isn't the Mirror left wing biased?
You want my spare Pond then?
Note that the Yellow Dalek is not currently contained in any set or the blind bags

Um...... isn't the Mirror left wing biased? Long time since I checked it out, but I don't recall it being particularly enlightened. Nor did it have particularly good writing. But perhaps that is a discussion for another thread! So....Doctor Who Not-LEGO Men, eh? -Ralph

Chase Toys can fuck off. -Ralph merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/character-building-website-now-live/The site also confirms the Army Builder sets of Daleks, Cybermen and Weeping Angels and that only 500 of the Super rare Raggedy Doctor and Projected Angel and only 100 of Amy Pond (green coat), Silurian Restac and Football shirt will be available. especially at those proportions.

Looking at some of the older links, I see the plan is for that Doctor Figure (8per case) is to be carried over into S2.
They're going to be obscene money on ebay those super rare figures.

Well I've done well. Got the Doctor with The Mirror, then a Dalek Drone and Angry Weeping Angel, went for a coffee and people watch at my local cafe and then decided to go back to Argos and asked to view 10 more bags and got some choice morsels: Serene Weeping Angel, Cyberman, Angry 'Baldy Man' Smiler', another Dalek Drone (grr) and Amy Pond.
Back tomorrow for me Eternal Dalek.
