I grabbed an extra packet and got a Cyberman. If I did'nt know any better, I'd say the legs on it are a repaint of the Doctors trousers and shoes. ===KEN Male legs are all the same in the range. Just different colours. Went to Sainsburys and asked and got TWO more Daleks free...! ;D The Progenitor set box pic's a bit misleading, you think there is another Dr figure but there isn't. Expect a running change to the box pic at some stage...I've seen initial box pics and it seems this set was initially going to be a Dalek Space Ship Set....More prototype pics here: idlehands1.blogspot.com/2011/01/character-options-announces-character.html

Yes, it was solicited to me as Dalek Space Ship.
The picture is misleading but it does say in fairly big text, "1 Dalek: The Supreme figure included" and "Eleventh Doctor micro-figure not included," on both front and back.
It's not as misleading as the Pirates of the Caribbean Lego boxes, though, which have so much stuff in them that you don't notice unless you look closely how little actual Lego there is.

As long as the box says other figures not included or whatever phrase is usually used I can't see them changing anything. Toy companies have been doing it for years. Was it Metroplex that was covered in minibots and scramble city toys?

Moot point. But on 'Lego' style toys if you have two or more figures shown on the box you know its got said same amount IN the box...People buying these will still assume whilst glancing that it will have more figures than not. They'll have the change it, they are in a habit of changing packaging on their products. HM Armed Forces larger scale dolls have seen running changes both on product and on packaging...They are a great company though, they remind me of the sorts of toy companies we used to have that provide great customer service from spares to all ranges of answering enquiries.
Its reminded me of something, a few years back I bought two 12'' radio control Daleks off ebay from separate sellers. I put them in my ex's airing cupboard for a while and when I next used them the eye stalk lights didn't work. I tried to get the sellers to help me but they said contact Character, Character said its the sellers obligation under trading standards but ebay being ebay they didn't budge. I them re-contacted Character and they said 'send them to us' which I did, and they tested them and surprisingly as a matter of customer service sent me TWO brand new Daleks and they paid for the courrier service.
I really like them. Wouldn't mind one day working for them in some capacity, perhaps packaging design and eventually product development....

The S2 Roman Rory figure can be army built - just think, armies of Romans! Character should branch out, Cobi make Medieval and Roman stuff abroad and it'd be cool if Character Building eventually makes Roman stuff...Lego really missed out, even Playmobil do Romans!

I remember seeing the Tardis interior and Doctors set in a Toy Fair report. They're probably linked in an earlier post.
I wouldn't be surprised if Series 2 were revised, with more up-to-date characters rather than last year's. BBC, Character and other licensees are getting better at putting product on shelves to coincide with current adventures.

Well, all those initial pics were prototypes....so revisions are inevitable.
They need to make a Dalek Saucer playset. I'd also like to see classic style Daleks and wouldn't be surprised to see the 'inferior' new series style ones and eventually classic Who sets. Imagine Bessie and the 3rd Doc, 2nd Doc and Tomb of The Cybermen, GIANT ROBOT! U.N.I.T - which would be easy as they can reuse HM ARMED FORCES molds, classic U.N.I.T. and 'new' U.N.I.T. soldiers....I hope they do DAVROS and Dalek Emperors!

These are kids toys, you're not meant to be careful. The pins are far too fragile

Those doors really do need to be on thick, sturdy pegs rather than the little fiddly ones they are on.

Yes they do. But I was meaning from an adult standpoint as well.

Just... grrr Those doors! ===KEN If you have hands like giant slugs or sausages and take a hamfisted approach then parts will break....Be careful or if your a kid you get an adult to look at the instructions and build it. If kids or adults can build Airfix kits then this should be a doddle....

Sadly not, the cmt affects them as well as the legs.
The door pegs on mine are showing stress marks and they've just been opened and closed: that's not good
