I don't think Ultra Magnus's story would be effected that much because Simon did keep his events uneffected by the US stories. He would have just got lost after his last sighting in #171.

Could the logo be an Hasbro thing - they might want it looking more in line with Movie, Prime, reissue toys than the #200+ logo 88-93.
