He's all right, though I suspect a bit too much of a departure from the classic orange hot-hatch for the good Doc.

A vast improvement. "His tiny size makes him an ideal spy." So he transforms into a toy monster truck rather than a full size one? Sounds like he might be joining the elite ranks of full scale TF toys... Martin

Picture of new movie Wheelie: ClickTotal polar opposite here, fantastic vehicle but a terrible looking robot. I have to disagree. Wheelie looks fantastic in both modes. The head reminds me of No. 5 from Short Circuit or the Gungans from Star Wars (look at the placement of the eyes). The teeth are annoying, though. The profile is also interesting. I predict that Wheelie will be popular with young children and fully expect to see the "life size" Wheelie RC car at Christmas. Edited to add spoiler tag - Ralph

We should be used to it I suppose after seeing a Bat/Gator mutant called Soundwave, a Decepticon named Hot Rod and a chav blue helicopter named Cyclonus to name a few things.
For me, I've associated Wheelie in name towards a small kid-like underdog character. I think it suits this new child-like gimmick which could have easily been called something else.
I am really looking forward to seeing this little guy come to life on screen and am expecting some possible Batteries Not Included style fun. Wheelie near enough counts as a Real Gear character, which the concept on it's own IMO deserved its own Transformers series.

The Fallen In ReposeIt's quite pretty and I do like the colours, but I can't help but think that the vehicle mode will be a bit of a mess. He looks about the size of voyager Starscream. Speaking of Starscream... -Nick

I wonder if Scorponok will get a reissue since the toy already has a Mech Alive gimmick.

That Devastator race track RPM set looks like a lot of fun for the kiddies!

Yeah, and as usual I - the 30 year old adult collector - am more excited about the kiddie stuff than the "realistic looking" robots... I prefer Animated to Movie, I think Power Punch Devastator is preferable to the actual Supreme sized toy, and I LOVE the kiddie race track while hating the toy line. Oh - and I hate Sideswipe too. Yeah, but Power Punch devastator at least doesn't look like a bunny rabbit sitting on a toilet, but like a good old fashioned giant super robot.

Pete I hadn't really thought about Devastator in that light, but now that mental image is going to stay in my mind... Mind you, the "lies down" version of Devastator at least looks more like something. Whereas the combiner version has all of the features I dislike in BanDai's Super Sentai combiners, and none of the occasional flourishes that I do like - making for a worst of both worlds situation. I do think that the upcoming movie line will likely be the cheapest Transformers line for me in a long time. (I already have Prime and Rescue Ratchet from the last line, so I think once I snag a Starscream I am probably about set based on what we have seen so far). Karl

I really like the Gravity-Bots gimmick. I can't wait to get my hands on Bumblebee- which is an odd sensation.

Honestly, I have not been as amazed by a TF in action since Laser Rod Prime. I could not believe my eyes. I'm completely sold on them.

Word was relayed to me by my manager today- the Feature Wall (a 24ft wide display that confronts customers as they come into the shop, the most sought-after real estate in the store) in branches of Toys'r'us all over Britain will be changing to Transformers for the duration of Revenge of the Fallen. In a couple of months frequent TRU visitors can expect to see Miley Cyrus' vacantly grinning mug surrounded by her High School Musical backing dancers whipped off and replaced by a pair of blazing red optical sensors that stare into your very soul as a giant Cybertronian head lords over a mountain of plastic transforming joy.
