I can't decide if the FoC Optimus Prime packaging is longer than we have seen in previous deluxe lines or the toy is just really small. Edit: Really like every single toy in the Generations line.

I'm not convinced by Prime or Jazz, the rest are good. The combaticons more for the individual figures than Bruticus though.

I've talked myself off the ledge, helped by all the LEGO pics from US Toy Fair. Phew. That was close there.

Right so i see there are 8 new Generations figures out at the end of this year all to do with Fall of Cybertron - is the UK getting them retail? I also hear in 2013 we will be bombarded with Generations!!!

I dunno, I suspect at least wouldn't be surprised to find next years Generations line to be a dumping ground for anything that hasn't made it to retail when planned. So TF Prime First edition moulds, unreleased movie moulds.
Then again without a new movie, who knows maybe it will be filled with new moulds.
As for the UK getting them, well I imagine we'll get at least some of them. Wouldn't like to guess which or how many. Or when for that matter.

The original colours on Bruticus were good. The new colours are superb. Disco camoflage.

Dunno about retail, but Wave 1 (Prime, Jazz, Shockers) of the FOC figures are already up for pre-order at Kapow and toyzandgames for around £17 each.

Tempted to put in a pre-order for Shockwave, he's the only one of the three that grabs me. Wish we knew what Takara's plans are!

I already seen the pre-order prices. I don't want to pay over the top prices if they come out in mass retail - why pay 17 quid when you can pay 10 or thereabouts? Would make a big difference in regards to Bruticus - around 50 rather than 75.
And yep can't wait for Shockwave - hopefully in retail lol.

The FOC figures were shown at the UK Toy Fair, so you'd expect that Hasbro UK are willing to release them on retail so long as there's a demand.

Bruticus does seem to have a decently stocked wardrobe, street and smart looks as appropriate.

Virtually any Classics/Generations/RtS that Hasbro UK sold in retail throughout the UK i've seen in stores (in Northern Ireland anyways), though i do travel sometimes upto 45 miles to get to certain stores such as Toys R' Us and Smyths.

Did you see the Astrotrain/Grimlock/Mirage/Ramjet/Cliffjumper wave? Or the Inferno Voyager? They were the hard ones to find.
Then we have the waves *NOT* released in the UK of Unioverse & Generations

If i remember correctly i seen Mirage, Astrotrain, Ramjet and Cliffjumper in my local Woolworths (wish i picked them up at the time), and my nearest Toys R Us has loads of Inferno along with other voyagers at a knock down price of 10 quid - which i was also stupid enough at the time not to get in on.

I only ever saw those deluxes in FP and refused to pay their high mark-ups and waited for them to hit Woolies and the like...but I never saw them!
Inferno I saw exactly twice (in FP).

Wilkinsons was the only place in England that had them. Your mileage may vary in the rest of the UK.
I don't think I ever saw Inferno..... no once in an independent in Weston.

So anymore from anyone on whether Hasbro UK will release these over here for us at some sort of store?

Then again without a new movie, who knows maybe it will be filled with new moulds. It dawned on me day before yesterday, that 2014 is the 30th anniversary for the franchise. And it also dawned on me that 2014 is when TF4 is set to be released. So... TF4 is being released juuuust in time to utterly kill whatever 30th Anniversary line hasbro deems fit to give us, just like TF2 came out just in time to killed the 25th anniversary line (Which got only two waves, while the GI Joe 25th line lasted over a year) Anyway, more on topic, I hope that you guys don't get jinxed and shorted. But I don't have very high confidence in Hasbro. Also hope that if Generations continues past the 8 toys they say they're doing, that they get away from the FoC asthetic. Also hope we see more G2, Beast Era, RiD, and UT homages.
