And speaking of cassettes, an anthropomorphic Laserbeak just seems wrong to me. I agree, it's a shame he's supposed to be Laserbeak, but it's a nice colour scheme on a really good toy. My favourite stand-in Laserbeak will remain Booster X10.

Now this is nothing to do with my obession over how large Transformers figures are, but his body does look a bit too small to me.
Like him though.

Ian: Impactor, Topspin & Twin Twist, Whirl & Roadbuster You know this is going to lead to a Wreckers repaint the next time there's a G1 Bruticus rerelease? Oh excellent! That's the perfect character combination I think! AND I'D LOVE A G1 BRUTICUS WRECKERS REPAINT!!!! What's Combined Wrecker's name? Wrecker?

Tangentially, I just now got an email from Amazon US telling me they'd refunded my import deposit (a little over £10) for the Unicron I ordered last summer. I had no idea this was something that could/would be refunded, and it makes the G2 Bruticus look even more of a good deal.

Well after opening my mouth, now it seems I'm spoilt! VOYAGER Grimlock, casset-types for FoC Soundwave, a realy nice Wreckers group. Pleased!
Still need a Trailbreaker to finish off the '84 cars though!

Wal-mart wants to sell deluxes for $9.99, so Hasbro has to design, cast, assemble, paint, ship and market them for $7.49. The only upside is they can sell them to shops for double that in the European market -Nick

Oh, I get why they're doing it... You'd just think that with a Prime they'd make it less obvious.

From what I hear these aren't $10 In Wal*mart, they're more. Price goes up and size goes down

Fifteen dollars, if it arrests the steady shrinkage of the toys that would be a good thing. What I suspect is that the price'll hit fifteen dollars and the size of the toy will keep decreasing slowly.
