Hey guys - I have been offered an amount of store credit with Kapow. All of which I am unlikely to need in the immediate future.

I haven't taken them up on the offer yet as I don't want money in limbo, but another collector chum of mine offered to effectively buy the store credit from me. So I order and get the items delivered to him, he then gives me the equivalent cash$money.

Is this something anyone here would be happy to do? it'd be a big favour that I'd massively appreciate.

It's either the case these two were cheap enough to buy in as exclusives because no one else wanted them and Bluestreak and Soundblaster are somewhere else, or Kapow will do another reveal and show them as well. I can't see Kapow went for Prime/Megs instead of the other two and no one has picked them up. No sense there. We all at least need Bluestreak!

HASBRO UK UPDATE - As many of you are aware Transformers Siege Springer and Jetfire have been delayed again and are now due very late in August / September. there are also delays with the Marvel Legends Retro wave and Star Wars Clone Commander Obi Wan Kenobi so we thought it would be helpful if we clarify some things going forward.

This is not Hasbro UK's fault, they are told what to do via the USA, they are working hard to change the face of the UK market and so far have offered out more product than ever before but the delays have indeed caused a dip in excitement and product delivery.

Going forward we will be supporting Hasbro UK and buying the majority of our stocks through them, if we do not then the UK scene will not grow, we know a lot of you guys like to get stuff the instant it hits the market be it in China, the US or UK but from here on out we're probably not the store for you and we mean that in the nicest possible way.

We want you to be happy and it seems of late the delays mean this not the case even though the prices are the best they have ever been and usually cheaper than imports. We've always been an honest and open business and will continue to be that way so if you want to know where to get your items from on the import market feel free to drop us an email and we'll give you names of some great places that will continue to offer this service for you.

In the future things will settle down, its a learning process for everyone involved including the fan base, you can always change your mind or have a refund on orders already placed, what we cannot do is sadly influence a huge international company on their shipping times.

We're working to bring you more info on a regular basis from here on out with Q and A sessions starting at the end of the month, until then feel free to leave your comments and feedback below.

It's been as frustrating for us as it is for you but we're hoping in the end if it will be worth it.

Oh dear. Well it is of course up to them if they wish to support Hasbro UK. I'll generally get most of my stuff elsewhere, however, due to Hasbro UK's poor distribution. That may indeed not be their fault but I'll buy from the places that can get stock.

I wonder if Brexit plays a role - is it safer to work with Hasbro UK who will probably absorb some of the import costs, being part of a global organisation, than be potentially subject to post-Brexit volatility with respect to importing?

I know that most imports come from Asia, but the no-deal situation with falling back on WTO rules (which is probably what will happen) across the board is bound to have an impact. And I imagine some UK importers must be kicking themselves that this happens just as the EU starts an agreement with Japan.

It's a big turnaround. Perhaps Hasbro UK have said they won't supply Kapow if they import from elsewhere, and Kapow make more money from selling UK stock than importing so they don't have any choice.

My thoughts echo Ralph's - If Kapow can guarantee they'll actually get the stock then I'm fine waiting, but the thought that we could end up waiting for stock that never comes is a worry. On that note, I see Hasbro UK stock of Jetfire and Omega Supreme has been pushed back again. What guarantee do we have they will actually arrive?

Yup. Waiting is not an issue for me but I have so little faith in Hasbro UK being able to deliver their own products that I'm less likely to use stores that only get their stock from them, which is a shame. Not a judgement on the stores themselves.

Yes, I think that's the key to it: none of us trust Hasbro UK to deliver which is why we use the likes of Kapow and IDToys anyway.
