I think it'd be a pity if it did, since its clearly filling a gap in the market, for collectors-grade figures calling back to the G1 toys where the collectors don't mind paying a hefty sum.

Hasbro clearly tried to grasp onto the nostalgia market with Generations, but if Power of the Primes is anything to go buy, they're falling victim to cost cutting, while still trying to target a mass market price range. From that perspective they're just not going to compete with the pricier 3rd party stuff.

That said, there's a *lot* of third party stuff out there now, and there's obviously some attempt at corner cutting going on, where there should still be some guarantee of quality. I'm more inclined to be forgiving of a £16 deluxe having a minor QC issue than if I've spent £200 on a figure. So it makes sense there might need to be a reckoning for the companies that are being a bit more fly by night.

Good sign that Kapow are doing well.

Given the very limited options we have- I have always been fearful that the UK guys (Kapow, idtoys, and star) have been only one small step up from a cottage industry, and thus vulnerable to folding for all sorts of reasons.

I see them stocking Super 7 stuff now, somebody else mentioned them moving into Figuarts. Hopefully they grow to a point they could even carry joint exclusives alongside BBTS, EE etc.

Hasbro UK Transformers Update - Due to the drip feed style of deliveries we now currently have Transformers Siege Wave 2 Prowl in stock, Ironhide and Sixgun processing and Bumblebee Movie Voyager Optimus Prime due next Monday due to a Hasbro system error! We know many of you guys who pre-ordered have bundles waiting for everything to be in stock and its as frustrating for you as it is for us. Our admin has been working overtime to get through sporadic invoicing and cancellations but there is some light at the end of the tunnel with the remaining items due in towards the end of April.

We always like to keep customers in the know and going forward we will now be using Hasbro UK as little as possible, maybe in the future when they have things settled we may try again but for the time being things are almost unworkable from a pre-sale point of view and ultimately it is you the customer that ends up unhappy which is unacceptable.

We want you to be happy so will be working our socks off to bring back our old service levels and product offerings, prices may be slightly higher but the stock will be guaranteed and available on time with minimal disruption.

Was an option on the POTP vote, and I think Hasbro half expected it to win.

But with it looking like Titanmasters are coming back for WFC II - or so Apeface makes us think, and with the Commander class being a good fit for Scorponok - it wouldn't surprise me to see a Titanmastered Star Sabre at some point. After all Brainmasters and Headmasters are a pretty similar gimmick.
