I think Graham Norton nailed it, Europe doesnt care. Especially when we entered a half decent song and performed it well.
That may or course change on the public vote.

I like the idea of Eurovision winners being happy, upbeat songs. That was miserable. Sounded like a reject from a Disney film soundtrack.

I liked the song, and could see how it won.
Glad to see we had mid-table respectability in the end. Poor Spain though and Germany only scraped a few points.

I'm usually impartial in these things, but I have to say of the first ten, the UK have this nailed. I'd not heard the song before, but that kind of pop anthem is bang on Eurovision.
Who knows, the invader might even get us sympathy votes.

I wondered if it was a Brexit thing. I don't know how well the UK, or England is liked these days.
Second half picked up well, some good nonsense. Kudos to Hungary for flying the Nu-Metal flag fifteen years too late.
The choreography with the one with the three doors was very clever.
