Excellent, excellent. I shall see about getting some time off around the weekend. But even if I don't, I can finish work at 3.30pm on the Friday anyways so I can be around in the evenings.
If anyone is having an issue with accommodation there is a spare bed and a couch in my house which can be made available (you'd need to take into account the return train fare from Falkirk to Edinburgh of about a tenner) so if anyone needs to be put up then let me know and we might be able to sort something out.

My train will be arriving at Edinburgh Waverley at 10:22 a.m. on Saturday morning.
It's about time I showed up at a ScotCon.

Really getting excited now - was telling some of the Chicago folk I know that I'm finally going to go to Scotland during the US thanksgiving weekend - so whilst they are eating their Turkey they will be thinking of me sampling some local Scottish cuisine - I'm thinking haggis maybe?

I will agree however, it is an occasional treat, haggis is a more frequent purchase.

Nonsense.
For those who do not know, a pizza crunch is not just a fried pizza. It is a battered and fried pizza!

I can make the Saturday festivities- but'll have to cry off for the last train home. Luckily a line has opened that takes me directly to the 'Burger so should be able to hang out until later than usual.

Just got word from the chaos bringer, er I mean Nick, that a package is heading this way. As half of it is Scotland bound it made my mind up to attend.
To the train search.
