I'll pm folks my mobile later. Will be at work till 1745 but will pop along later on Friday night. Friday, I suggest maccowans at Fountainbridge as a base. Saturday 11am at Haymarket station would be a sound plan for meeting up. We can then corall folks as and when they come in. Bargained well and done! That sounds like the makings of a good plan. Karl

Can you find your way here from the station? Martin My Windows phone has Nokia maps and GPS - Looks close enough and its on the map so I can use nokia map to find it

I've not been able to get the time off work to go up and down to Scotland. But work has been so terrible of late, it's probably for the best that I hunker down at home, its too depressing to do much else D:

Perhaps you'll be able to make it for next years Scotcon. Karl (Don't Hunker Down, go on Overwatch and take a reaction shot on life if it moves.....)

Very enjoyable day and we have just broken up for the night. Surprisingly, none of the team have ended up hammered! A Scotcon first! Is this...maturity?
Nick was indeed able to join us via some internet witchcraft.

He did.
Good weekend, chaps.
Though I have had to bail (Real Life things I need to do and I stupidly did not realise folk would be around past Sunday am), many Scotcon troopers remained in the Tron pub when I left. What will happen next?

So we let him win some fussball after.

Great to see everyone, an absolutely fantastic weekend and just the tonic in these slightly dreary winter months.
To those who couldn't make it, there is always next year! Or sooner if you want, we are sociable lot.

Safely home! Train travelled slow through areas where there was water on the line, and some impressive flooding was on view, but I can't complain about losing half an hour between Edinburgh and Cardiff all things considered.
Great long weekend, folks! Roll on the next one!

We now know the Phantom Zone to Marc's Superman - Dirty Dick's on Rose Street.
Their choice of music was exquisite agony to him.
