A strange two-pack containing two non-transforming robots appeared in my local Poundland. Although they are not technically knock-offs, they have a strong resemblance to Movie Optimus Prime and Bumblebee/Cliffjumper.

Your unofficial version of Superion Maximus is making reconsider selling mine it looks cool. Eh? A Superion Maximus KO? Great reviews Mr. RedShirt. I'm almost tempted to buy the Action Master Prime for the light alone.

Stupid question, but probably not. Were they all a pound each?
I have a couple of those Beasty Crotchformers if someone wants to offer them a home.

Two-packs of 'Fantastic Robot Fighters' in Poundland todau. Included are figures loosely based on Movie Optimus and Bumblebee, who cannot transform and appear to be able to move their arms up and down and that's it.

I think this thread needs a rule- you post about knock offs you have to post photos/youtube review or it didn't happen.

Nay. I don't have a camera phone to snap pics when I see them.

Put them on Stardub, Ralph. A Knockoffs special would be a classic. BTW. I found one of those crotchformers you took interest in. It's yours if you want it (Will post a pic in this post in a sec). Knockoff Dinosaur Thing pic

Oh, I wouldn't do Crotchformer as I would not want to unwittingly plagerise Blueshift.

I'll gladly send it over, especially if it might make an appearance on Stardub.

Space Commando has returned to Poundland! Space Commando looks suspiciously like a variety of oversized Cybertron legends figures in crazy colours.

No Space Commandos in my local Poundland, though I did find a 'Mega Bots' pack. The pack contains a red Movie Barricade (who can't stand up in robot mode) and a fragile-looking white Cybertron Skywarp figure. I have taken photographs to save you, my fellow hubbers the pain of buying these heinouos Decepticon knock-offs: Robot modeVehicle mode

They do look shockingly bad, but I was really tempted by one of the other sets. I can't remember which two it was now. Probably for the best.

While brousing in the town yesterday I saw some oversized legends KOs - Soundwave and Hotshot as BB - in the 99p shop and some acurately sized & coloured RM KOs - all 4 flipchangers, Jetfire and Prime - in the Range.

My local Poundland had several oversized movie Legend KOs and Power Ranger lion-robot KOs in their toy section today. The Starscream KO is a horrid shade of orange, which may interest anyone that dreams of Sunstorm appearing in the movie line.
