I haven't read the report myself, but apparently the name of the next James Bond film, due november '15, is 'Spectre'. This pleases me. I've been desperate for them to do a modern take on the Spectre organisation.

Much unintentional amusement in the Spectre trailer. The villain is everywhere! He's behind everything that has ever happened to Bond! I have visions of Bond realising too late that his loo roll has vanished only to find a note on the loo roll holder stating: 'IT WAS ME!'.

That was literally the plot of the Flash comic with Zoom! Zoom travels back in time and does literally every petty thing that ever happened to Barry Allen.

Spectre is playing on IMAX round these parts. Sold out on opening day but booked for the following day for IMAX. I shall just have to avoid spoilers for only one day. Skyfall was great on IMAX. Looking forward to this one.

Amusingly the local fleapit has a special barrier behind which all customers for Spectre screenings must stand behind!

Nice. My local Odeon are issuing special commemorative tickets! Which appear to be an entirely unremarkable black piece of card with the word Spectre written on it.
Yeah, you better believe it. I'm framing mine.

I have to say, while I enjoyed Spectre immensely, it had the most rubbish opening song in the history of the franchise.

I agree. It doesn't fit Daniel Craig's Bond at all. Took me a while to realise it was a man.

I haven't seen the film yet, but agree the song is utter pants. Young Sam is no Chris Cornell, 'n'no mistake.

Sam Smith is one of the few pop singers I truly cannot stand. If he'd just done the vocals on that Naughty Boy song 'La La La' the world would be a happier place.

Indeed. I cringed when Cheryl on XFactor had the naivity to compare Sam Smith to classic Atlantic/Motown era soul artists.
His falsetto is just painful.
I mean, not that I watch XFactor...

The local World of Cine currently has the entire set of Bond songs/themes on a loop in the lobby and evil Starbucks. The current song fares even worse in that context, alas!

It's just as awful as the eventual Spectre theme in the actual film was!
I like a lot of Radiohead's stuff but that sucks donkey balls.
