Fantastic day out. Good to meet Stomski (aka tiramisu connoisseur) for the first time and see the rest of you again. Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to Phil.
The big Lego spaceships presentation was mind-blowing, and it was fun to contribute to the Great Mosaic of Champions.
Definitely up for this again next year.

Some great stuff in there, hard to pick a highlight. Really must get there one day when the little 'un is older.

Kiera was looking forward to meeting some of my friends and I'm pleased to say that she thought you guys were lovely. Insane, but lovely. We both found that our favourite large display was the castle, and the individual model was the green dragon.

If I'd have known Hero Jr was going to be late I would have joined in. Another time. Looked like a great show too.

Yep. Enjoyed both days. Just as much fun as last year though the enormous medieval landscape display this year trumped everything from the two years that I have attended. Jaw dropping.
The ghost themed train set-up was also extremely clever.

Fantastic weekend. Loved the Lego Exhibition, definitely back next year.
Great to meet Stomski in person for the first time, the Tiramisu conversation with the waitress was gold. Good to see Kiera but sadly I doubt she will let Nigel play with certain Transformers any more.

Such a well run show two years in a row. It has become an annual pilgrimage. Very inspiring and fun, reflecting the hobby in a very positive and accessible light.

I don't know to link it from the youtube app, but if you search Jeremy Wiliams Lego Spaceships you will find a video of the talk that he gave this weekend which he had also done at another event. Mindblowing stuff.
The video was not from this weekend, but seems to be the same presentation.

Lovely to see you all, hope you all had fun.
Still not found Jango Fett and the Clone Trooper though I have located Andu's iPad headphones

Will have my pics up tonight, but not many displays that Phil hasn't covered.
Nigel - Sorry didn't say goodbye to you two, had to dash. Ralph - You're taller in person than I expected. Andu - Exactly as I thought. Phil - Thanks for organising! Hope Sunday was less busy. Martin - I should have had the Banoffee pie. Nick - Thanks for bringing the Fans Project stuff. Let the team down as he didn't finish his pizza, luckily others assisted.
Hopefully won't be the last time I meet you all in person!

It was a large pizza and I am not a large man. I thought I did pretty well making it through 87.5% and am grateful to Phil for ensuring the remaining 12.5% didn't get wasted.
See you next year, Stom?

Probably didn't help that you started 20 minutes after the rest of us!
I shall indeed aim to be there next year.

I regret not being able to attend this years show, but hearing and seeing from the pictures that it was as good as last years, I will definitely be making it a priority to attend next years show.

It was a fun weekend, and as with previous trips to the DFIS, Uncle Andy's gadgets provided a deep-seated fascination for Jonathan. Whereas before it was my iPad this time it was my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone, thanks to the wee S-pen stylus it has or as Jonathan called it my special stick. Pointing out he had his own iPad to use now did not curb his enthusiasm or attempts to liberate my phone from my clutches.

I'm not sure I'd have it after those Pizzas!
I don't suppose anyone who came for the Lego show has found a Clone Trooper and Jango Fett in their bags unexpectedly? Jonathan says he put them on the table and I know we did have some bags underneath it. Could you check just in case they got knocked off the table and into a bag?

Worried they went in the rubbish by accident
