Words cannot express my sheer blinding rage at the absolute blinding racism of the Goverment's immigration policy. On days like today I am genuinely ashamed to be British.
It also comes as a shock to learn that according to the Goverment I've being doing low skilled work for 20 years. Apparently, my partner would be "low skilled" too. We both have degrees. She runs her own business.
I hope Tory voters are happy. There won't be enough people to help them now if they get sick.

It was a huge lapse in judgement, but I can also see the advantage of continuity in leadership. Tricky.
I'm pretty sure if it was a Tory minister who did it the SNP would be after political blood.

A rare lapse in judgement from Sturgeon. The medical officer should have been toast, especially when it transpired she had ignored her own advice twice. How can the public possibly believe a word out of the medical officer's mouth? It's critical that those in charge follow their own advice.

I see that Captain Tom has currently raised £12.3m for NHS charities. This is lovely but why is the NHS in such a state such endeavours are required? If only we had some sort of, oh, central Government funding to give it enough.

I found it astonishing that in that press conference he just started thinking on the spot and suggesting ideas as if his completely random thoughts were world saving pearls of wisdom that would make his chief MO stand up and shout, "Oh my god that's genius! why didn't we think of that!"
He genuinely thinks that anything that pops into his head has to be right because he's the president.

You know in his head he was already picturing *The the worlds scientists slapping their heads and saying "Doh, if only we were as smart as you Mr President" *Reelection having saved the world *Times Person of the Year. Which I suspect is the thing he really wants more than anything as it represents recognition from the media.

Dear lord but that man is well named. I've long learned not to expect anything of Tories but he's pushing down past even that floor-level expectation. What an incompetent bull-shitting shambles this current cabinet is, top to bottom.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52605819Appearing on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show, Mr Jenrick said: "Stay alert will mean stay alert by staying home as much as possible, but stay alert when you do go out by maintaining social distancing, washing your hands, respecting others in the workplace and the other settings that you'll go to." This better be better defined by the time we get to seven o'clock or no one is going to know what the hell "stay alert, control the virus, save lives" means.
