Fecking hell. That's a tough one. Also tricky as episodes with paperwork to suggest they were deleted in the 70's turned up later. And of course fragments of episodes turned up!

Big Finish are doing a sale on the first two Lost Stories seasons this weekend! Now I know what I'm spending my paycheque on! I've been after Point of Entry for ages at a sane price! www.bigfinish.com/ranges/released/special-offersOf the ones I have listened to there, Nightmare Fair, Leviathan and Paradise 5 are actually rather good, Thin Ice is aggressively average, and Mission to Magnus is terrible (though I am glad they made it)

Ploughing my way through the 11 hours and 30 minutes of the audiobook version of the Shada novelisation. I was quite enjoying it until the characters left Cambridge and I realised it still had about 6 hours to go. It's just dragging now. Like the BF version, it's too faithful to the original scripts.

Skagra has been defeated and there's still roughly an hour to go. Losing the will to live.

Skagra has been defeated and there's still roughly an hour to go. Losing the will to live. -Ralph I had to wait a few days before ploughing on and it still almost broke me. Probably the best version (and last, surely?) of Shada yet though got all the die-hard Shada fans out there. -Ralph

The Works in Swindon has yielded, thanks to Ralph's excellent tat sensors, a boxed set of three Target Audio books -Dalek Invasion of Earth, The Auton Invasion, and The Dinosaur Invasion -for 13 pounds.. They have been placed on my pile to be listened too in due course.

Oh right. Rula Lenska narrated the audiobook of The Happiness Patrol despite not being in it. That is the class of obscure jokes you get from me!

Indeed. There is some fantastic stuff in the first 50, and at those prices they are virtually giving them away. Karl

I have lost a few of the cd's of stories from that era. £3 downloads means I can re-acquire some of them whenever I like. Good stuff.
