I was briefly in Asda Ashton to get some juice and they had 3 copies!!! I had no need as Pinwig has already found one for me but I left an alert on the BF FB in case there are fans in that area. Couple of weeks before I am likely to be back that way myself. -Ralph |

BF sometimes do nice special 'book style' packages for their big releases. I am a moth to a flame for them (I am otherwise a digital purchaser).
BUT!!!
The one for THE LEGACY OF TIME has COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS! It's a different size! It won't fit with the other ones on the shelf!!! Don't they know who buys these things aaararrrrrghghghghg.

Checked my local Sainsbury's for you this afternoon - none left. Just the shelf ticket saying the release had been delayed until August 2nd. If I'd been around on Friday I'd have gone over first thing, but I was hundreds of miles away driving home :(

Thanks. I checked another Sainsburgeries but they had sold out also. Ah well. My complete run of these exclusives had to come to an end sometime. I have been kucky thus far.

I listened to The Iron Legion on the way to and from TFN in the car. Really enjoyed that. It has the same exaggerated feel of the comic and a touch of the Adams era humour. Doesn't feel like a TV story, but then it isn't. Good stuff. Looking forward to listening to The Star Beast.

On checking Amazon to see if EVIL OF THE DALEKS on vinyl has dropped price (it hasn't) I see there is a vinyl release of the narrated soundtrack of THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN due. Nice cover.

THE THIRD DOCTOR ADVENTURES Vol1:
First story is a bit average but really captures the feel of that era and spookliy feels like a Pertwee story at times in all areas of the production
Second story was shite and in no way captures the era.
