There is pain behind that smile.
I totally forgot today is today. Were there any good FCBD issues out this time?

That is often the way though. You rarely get something really amazing that's new in a FCBD issue.

Robotech and Ghost Hog were ok. Avengers was shite.

The IPC humour title was decent. Robotech was solid as you would expect in the Furmanator's hands. Spawn Issue 1 was Spawn Issue 1. Vampirella had some nice Art Adams work in it. Interceptor was decent.

I think it's fair to have a delay before putting up digital copies to give people a reason to go to a store, which helps the retailers. I do think there should be digital options to cater for folk with disabilities which means they can't get to a shop.
With Record Store Day, shops have to wait until 7 days after the event before they can sell excess stock online.

For those unable to get to a store for whatever reason - and not everyone has access to a comic store - it turns into relying on friends, which given many stores don't take the 2000ad specials is always a problem, or paying scalpers on eBay. www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=BRITISH+COMICS+FUNNY+PAGES&_sop=15It is a very odd stance to take given their support of digital comics elsewhere. Having said that, I'm surprised to see this year's offerings on Comixology so soon.
