How very dare you! 1-step Thunderwoof is brilliant. The least fun of those was the big 3-Step Thunderhoover. Plastic tat that one. THUNDERWOOF!

How very dare you! 1-step Thunderwoof is brilliant. Face facts. The first few one-steps (movie line) were ok then they were all overpriced crap tat until Cyberverse when the secret of making them good was cracked. -Ralph

I have only owned four, so sticking to my own rules on this number five will by default be... 5. Warrior Thunderhoof - never saw one in shops, and surprisingly expensive on the secondary market 4. Warrior Stormshot - new character with a neat but classic-looking design, great combined weapon 3. Warrior Bludgeon - possibly the best Bludgeon toy yet? 2. Warrior Windblade - first good Windblade toy (and it is good!), great sword / sheath combo 1. Warrior Blurr - good fiddle factor and a lovely design in both modes

I didn’t buy a single RID toy! That’s got to be the first time I didn’t even try a toy line out...

5 Deployer Overload Such a fun toy 4 Warrior Strongarm VERY good toy for that early on. Her Ratchet retool is a great robot mode but could be better in vehicle and was famously skipped here. 3 Warrior Bludgeon Possibly the best modern Bludgeon. Make the pinky red brown/purple and he'd be perfect 2 Warrior Thunderhoof The Legion was good, and provided many hours of fun, but the Warrior is great! 1 Bisk Superbly mad toy and again skipped in the UK!

Completely forgot to do any of these so far. So!
2018:
Confusing one this since the majority of them I ended up getting in 2019, due to reasons of distribution. But if the Wiki says 2018, then 2018 it is
5 - Cyberverse Scout Windblade - Yes, she barely transforms into a jet, but she's a great little figure. 4 - Botbots Frostferatu - It's a vampire cupcake. Come on. 3 - Cyberverse Ultra Shockwave - Such a great, characterful and poseable Shockwave. Superb. 2 - Siege Shockwave - Just pipping the above because of the fantastic light piping. 1 - Throne of the Primes Optimus Primal - A great, poseable toy in great colours. And not on the wiki page for 2018. Odd.
nuRiD
5 - Battle-Pack Grimlock - I just like the armour. 4 - Team Combiner Galvatronus - Not that great a sculpt, but I find it oddly fiddleable-with.Warrior Windblade - 3 3 - Best toy of the character to date. 2 - Warrior Soundwave - Mostly for that entire-face-light-piping gimmick - looks great. 1 - Warrior Starscream - A great, characterful, stylised, poseable toy.

RID was a fun line, but I didn't really 'collect' it or feel the need to buy many of the toys - which is strange because they were really different to past lines and I loved the idea of default animal robot modes. Anyway, most RID15 toys I own were bought for me as birthday presents from my daughters so:
5) Deployer Fracture (bought by them for Christmas a couple of years ago) 4) One Step Strongarm (birthday 2015 from Jess) 3) One Step Underbite (birthday 2015 from Sophie) 2) One Step Fixit - Love this thing and upon fiddling for the first time I was convinced it was the best TF toy ever made! 1) One Step Springload - It's a truck that turns into frog! Brilliant and reminds me of a crocodile character I made up when I was young, that turned into a pickup truck. This toy pretty much sums up what RID15 was all about. Christmas 2016.

Warrior Soundwave is amazing. BIRD CHEST ATTACK!!! That's Cyberverse, not nuRiD. But also a great Soundwave. If only they'd combine the two...

Week C: Top 5 Windblade ToysYour top 5 Windblade toys please So far I have three Windblade toys: 3. RID Warrior - simple to transform, as fits the line, but a good level of posability and well accessorised with sword, sheath that can be attached to the hip, and the fan. 2. SDCC 2016 - like #3 but in an appealing Fort Max-compatible colour scheme, with more paint apps including a silver blade, and comes as part of a really nice set 1. Legends Targetmaster - again simple, a slightly different take on the design so far (gives the impression of being older and more mature), _beautiful_ paint apps, the transparent blade on the sword looks great (and fits the idea of a "wind blade") and just to please all the many fans of her as a G1 transplant she's now both a head _and_ target master! The TAV version looks nice with the additional paint apps, and I like the look of the masked RID version as well, although I think they should have done more to visually distinguish her. The original Windblade toy has always looked a bit of a mess to me.

Turns out I only have six Windblades (although I think the conjunx has a couple of others elsewhere) but that's enough to get a top five from, so: - 5. Combiner Hunters Windblade - A lovely paint job with this SDCC exclusive, but a terrible mold, sadly - way too flimsy, and a lot of the parts don't fit together properly in alt mode.
- 4. Cyberverse Warrior Windblade - It's okay. A lot more sturdy than the above, but also lacking in poseability.
- 3. Cyberverse Scout Windblade - Somehow rates higher despite even less poseability and a lack of proper alt mode, but there's something satisfying about her compact size.
- 2. Titan Force Windblade - Excellent mold, well articulated and looks great in Fortress Maximus colours.
- 1. Titans Return Windblade - The mold I keep going back to. A great, solid figure, and I just love that she's a Headmaster now too.

The Titans Return one. A great toy, but the only Windblade I own and the only one that has appealed to me. That is all for me, I'm afraid. The rest all look the same really.

Hmmmm.
Hmmmmm.
A tricky one. I find it hard to remember what came out in POTP: the line lacked a distinct identity.

5. Roadtrap / Battleslash - Going to count these as a single toy because Duocon, and individually they are nothing special but as a set they are magnificent 4. Tailgate - Nice take on the classic design. Oddly much better in the plastic than in photos, for reasons I've never quite put my finger on. 3. Beachcomber - at last! 2. Slash - a new Dinobot which does a great job of using the classic Dinobot styling, as well as being a fun toy! 1. Swoop - beautiful toy, the blue chest really grew on me (the Selects red version was both a QC disaster, and didn't fit with the other Dinobots due to the lighter coloured plastic. An amazing misstep) Sadly couldn't find space for any Terrorcons, of who Blot and Rippersnapper are the stand-outs. Also liked Sludge and Dreadwind.

Tis a fairly limited line so this should be straightforward.
The best toy is Predaking because I haven't opened it yet, so it remains as good as my hopes think it will be. Man it's sooooo good. Mmm mmm. Oh yes.
Back in reality:
5. Windcharger. I love windcharger and this is the best one we've had since the original 4. Punch. Bit different. Curious we haven't seen that mould again. 3. Slug. Best of the Dinos. 2. Nemesis Evo Op. With the Toyhax stickers on this is formidable looking. 1. Evolution Op. Too big to be part of the main display, but I think this is a fantastic Optimus figure. With CW Megs they make a great display just on their own.
Can't fit a Terrorcon on here as they're all equally fun. It would be Abominus in place of Nemesis, but is the combined form allowed?
