That's what I always hated most about the reissues and their extended missiles. The originals had the missile launchers completely neutered. Every diaclone with a firing missile lacked the springs in the Hasbro TF release (at least the US versions), and we didn't see working missile launchers again until G2.
So it always irritated me that they didn't just do the same thing for the reissues.

I am certain the Hasbro UK releases had launching missiles.

They did.
The initial versions had the US depowered springs.
I can't recall if the Gold Box Classics were the full powered ones of not.....

And now I'm wondering if I own all of those tapes...

I certainly don't need those tape packs. But... I mean... Just look at them.

That's what I was thinking. I don't know why, but the tape packaging is really calling to me. Moreso than any of the other reissues there have been in this line.

Possibly for me because it remains mysterious. I only once ever saw them in a shop when I was younger, so they still have that air of mystery and near-impossibility to them...

You know, if they had stuck Ratbat in with Soundwave along with Buzzsaw, he might have ended up on my want list. That way we could have all six of Soundwave's signature takes in one go, without trying to sell a double Frenzy to be "authentic" Oh ho Jetty, if you wouldn’t mind sir I thought we'd already arranged for this? Or maybe I just thought tapes were a given? Dunno how much the tapes will cost, but based on Canadian Soundwave, he's gonna be between $50-$60.

Rumoured over a year ago IIRC. Bear with...

Rumor isn't an announcement though. And at that, I'd say speculated over rumor.
But Hasbro hasn't announced these (unless absolutely no site reported it today), they just put them up.

You have any clue why they threw Frenzy in there? Does he have some connection to them?
Like... I could understand if it's Ratbat. That would be getting Ratbat out there without a second frenzy.
But now if they do Ratbat/Frenzy, we all would have to absorb two additional frenzys.
I could also understand "Enemy," Stripes, and Wingthing.

Not a clue.... Which was why the original listing/rumour stuck in the mind.

So, to clarify <rolls up sleeves> FOUR Combining Tapes W CassettebotDile & Zaur, who form LegoutGraphy & Noise, who form DecibelDile was reissued as Dairu in Studio Series 19 Bumblebee Vol. 1 Retro Rock Garage along with Uruaz, a clear Decepticon repaint of Zaur Zaur was reisued as Zauru in Studio Series 20 Bumblebee Vol. 2 Retro Pop Highway along with Uriad, a clear Decepticon repaint of Dile. You needed both packs to form Legout and what is presumably called Tuogel. This is the first time Graphy, Noise & Decibel have been re-released though this precise pack, with Frenzy, was listed/rumoured a year ago: Encore Noise, Graphy, and New Color Frenzy

I checked online at 7:30am and already sold out online. Madness. And I'm very grateful you did check, and that you messaged ID, because for once the Book of Faces did something useful and alerted me to that question. So thanks to their reply, I was able to order the tapes when extra stock became available at 0820hrs, rather than waiting until I got into the office at 0900hrs at which point they'd sold out again. Madness!
