They are usually spot on. Here's hoping!

I could be very tempted by Dai Atlas and Star Saber if true! Very tempted!

A Star Saber reissue would be something that might make me tempted to save the pennies for.

I'm not sure about the shiny gold (thankfully not the dreaded form of shiny gold) substituting the yellow parts of the Predacons. It seems like too small a contrast against the orange. Maybe it looks better in the plastic.

It looks nice in pictures though I do miss the yellow. I'd love to have one but where would I put it? -Ralph

I wonder if the upcoming/current release of Predacons from three different 3P companies was a factor in the decision to release the Predacons in the west.

Could be.
I'm also wondering what the other 30th anniversary toys are....
1. Optimus Prime 02. Omega Supreme 03. Ultra Magnus 04 - 09. Grimlock and the Combaticons 10 - 14. Predacons

They've certainly got plenty of new Masterpiece moulds to choose from.

Wasn't there a rumour of RID Ultra Magnus appearing in the Platinum line? Potential for a(nother) lovely looking Omega Prime to take up a couple of slots.

I was looking at those earlier wondering what makes them Platinum? they don't look like they have unique paint jobs, they look like straight reissues. Although the last batch of reissues were red instead of yellow plastics weren't they?
I'm in the middle of refurbing my original G1 insecticons at the moment, but I'd be very tempted by these anyway to have some nice shiny new ones. I love those three.

Insecticons are a pass, got the last set done a few years back at the same time as Perceptor.
Jets..... well if I can sort the money.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if the price for this has been set by the other pack in the series, the 1985 jets reissue....
$80 US = $27 ish a piece for the Insecticons

Maybe Kmart are getting on the Toys'r'us exclusive Taking The Piss bandwagon. TRU always used to add a tenner to any Lego set that was exclusive to them, over the price on lego.com. They did it with a few things.

I *hate* k-mart exclusives. While TRU and Target exclusives are usually painful to try to find (target has gotten better in recent years), K-Mart... Jeez. The last time I even SAW a k-mart was in 2005, and I had to go to east pennsylvania to do so. They don't exist.
But at least it's this, and ridiculously priced at that. The UT exclusives they always got made me cry.

It's an odd list that.
Insecticons are out, and Cone Heads are advertised.
But Perceptor and Blaster were both done as US reissues relatively recently, Perceptor, with the Insecticons, during Universe and Blaster as a SDCC exclusive at around the same time.
Trypticon is almost odd bot out. Never been reissued before. Last seen in BWII in 1998.

Trypticon would be a purchase for me. Blaster and Perceptor are odd choices, given a high quality original would probably cost less than the reissue. You can get a good condition G1 Blaster for $60 and Perceptor is less than that, so why reissue those? it's a really random list. Trypticon makes perfect sense to reissue as he's hard to come by complete.

Blaster almost certainly will be a "with tapes" reissue.
