Well, that's 5.0 definitely bought. Pretender Megatron using Grand shell, yep. Things like this could have done with being known BEFORE the expiry date for ordering! I'm so glad I'm not invested in this kind of stuff. Just soooo many toys at the moment. Pretender Megatron from the awful Legends Warpath with a Fort Max shell? what? why is that sending everyone mental?

Pretender fans ie me who have not had any new Pretenders for almost 30 years and thought we would never see new ones again will naturally go mental. Also this now means you can have PRETENDER OPTIMUS FIGHT PRETENDER MEGATRON. Something no one could have conceived of UNTIL NOW.

I'm an active member and will be able to order whatever needed in the coming months. TFSS 5 will be available to order in a few weeks. Apparently the G2 Megatron is going to be cast in transparent plastic so he is a hologram which explains why he is small.
The only thing that would have made Pretender Megatron better is if he was that unreleased Spider shell, but I can understand them using an existing mold!

That awful Legends Warpath was *actually* originally from a dubious Legends Megatron! So he's back to being himself! See? It all makes sense. And, yes. A Fort Max shell. I must have, so that I can play pretend Grand Maximus with my Brave Max. |

I suppose I get it if Pretenders were your thing back in the day. FunPub has made a business out of homages to obscure characters and servicing fan needs after all. I guess I just see a lot of what they do as contrived. It never quite seems to really excite for the asking price.

I actually only like the Scorponok, but hate that he's tiny... I guess I'll not be bothering with any of those ones.
I actually get the impression that with this being their last set Fun Pub really didn't care. Might esplain why they didn't reveal any of these until after the cut off date, as the two they did share were easily the better ones. Counterpunch that isn't Punch too? no. Toxitron when the mold is perfect for Thunderclash? no. Pish wee Megatron, regardless of shell? No. Scorponok tiny, Fractyl meh? No.

Counterpunch is lame until someone mentioned that the arm mode could be Punch, and that's sort of hilarious.
Toxitron is one of those things that fandom liked because it was never released originally and then Funpub glommed onto it and made it 'theirs' to ride on the popularity, thus we see lots of Toxitrons.
Scorponok yeah whatever.
Fractyl, eeeeh I can see this. It's the obvious move given their Terrorsaur, a bit TOO obvious, but still, sort of a fait accomplai.

Then one person on TFW seemed to think it might be Scorponok and now that's all anyone says.
I don't see it. Mold is terrible, colors are wrong. (Of course none of these have ever stopped FP before.)

I'm on iphone, and that image is on twitter. I can barely even make out what mold it is, much less see a detail that tiny. Twidiot doesn't alliw their pictures to get bigger on iphone.

I would be mildly surprised if bludgeon comes before #5.
One would assume 1-4 are the decepticon limbs, 5 is bludgeon, and 6 is Impactor+bonus
But this is FP. That would take common sense.
