Looks like you're on top of things here, Mr Kiernan. Just give me a shout when you're ready to order.

Okay, so what's the total for someone wanting a whole set, so I can see if i find the money? With the various uneven prices if I want 4 of the most popular figures anyway I might as well think about the others too... The full set would be just the £190 (or whatever the exchange rate makes it, but roughly £190) plus US postage which is about £24-28. The toyfu donation is more about helping cover the spares as you'd be buying a full set you wouldnt be causing the problem, but a donation would still be appreciated if only for the time and energy Nick spends posting everything and obviously because its for a good cause. Jaymz asked me about international shipping and basically I should say the figures I gave are the worst case example. If they are shipped and insured for there maximum value. Jaymz suggested sending via a well tracked secure postal courier and marking down the value, which might be an option its also possible I heavily overestimated the weight. Does anyone know how much the average deluxe weights? I need new batteries for my scales, so I dont know how heavy a box with 12 deluxes in is.

Also the international shipping wouldnt be an issue till next Feb/March time so plenty of time to work out the details and save up for it.

I'd say a big deluxe like HTD Jazz is about 80 grams. Depends on how fancy the packaging is. Thinking back to 2011, posting a Fortress Maximus with about three dozen minibots and Gobots stuffed around him in a box packed with bubble wrap cost $80 to Scotland by standard airmail. That's about 5kg. A dozen deluxe figures even with bubblewrap and such should be around 3kg, which costs $65 according to the USPS website. Unlike the UK where posting anything under 2kg is cheap and anything over 2kg requires the sacrifice of at least one major organ, US postage only gets cheaper per lb the more you pile on. There's a ceiling of 20lbs on most of the international shipping options so it might be worth our while consolidating everything into as few shipments as possible. It all depends on how soon folk want their stuff -Nick

Sorry everyone I think my maths on the postage was way off. $185 to nick $51 insurance $210 international ------------------- 446 / 1.5 = £298 / 42 toys = £7.01
I cant figure out where I got £10 per toy for international mail from. Oh yeah I can I divided the dollar price $446/42 which is about 10. And then added the US postage which was already in that figure.
Okay I fail, but on the bright side, cheaper toys.
Prices should look more like this. UM is a few pounds more because it will weigh about 4 times as much. The deluxes are all about 125g UM 400g.
So rough totals toy price + Toyfu + postage
Circuit £20 +2 + 8 = £30 Jackpot £20 + 2 + 8 =£30 Breakdown £30 + 3 + 8 =£41 Scourge £40 + 4 + 8 = 52 Slipstream £40+ 4 + 8 = 52 Ultra Mammoth £40+ 4 + 11 = 54
if they got caught by customs each figure should only get charged £9 including a share of the ransom, sorry that should be "the totally legal and fair fee".
So toy price + Toyfu + postage + possible customs Circuit £20 +2 + 8 = £30 + 9 = £39 Jackpot £20 + 2 + 8 =£30 + 9 = £39 Breakdown £30 + 3 + 8 =£41 + 9 = £50 Scourge £40 + 4 + 8 = £52 + 9 = £61 Slipstream £40+ 4 + 8 = £52 + = £61 Ultra Mammoth £40+ 4 + 11 = £54 + 9 =£63

Quick update, so far no one has said they dont want anything they earlier showed interest in, and a few extra or being held while people make up their minds. As it stand the Toy fu donation would almost cover the remaining figures which would make things quite straight forward.

Well, since there'd be a spare of him anyway, I might be happy to take a Jackpot also.

Sounds like this whole plan is starting to work out! The only question remains- will Funpub be able to keep up with the release schedule? Also, will they lose all our credit card information? Will they send us someone else's order by mistake? Will they send us extra figures by mistake? Will we let them know and send them back? Will we bollocks.

Just to clarify I dont need the money for international postage or the possible customs charges till next year.
To make the order I just need toy cost, US postage and toy Fu donation/fee which will work out at about give or take a few pounds depending on the final size of the order and exchange rate.
Circuit £26 Jackpot £26 Breakdown £37 Scourge £48 Slipstream £48 Ultra Mammoth £48

Bugger, I've missed the group buy here haven't I?
I only want Ultra mammoth.
Guess I'll have to consider signing up by myself.
Is it worth it for a Big Convoy repaint...?

I'm considering signing up myself in addition to Mr K's subs that will be arriving at my place here in Iowa. Anything I don't fancy goes on the stall or to any TMUKer who decides they want a particular chap once the detailed galleries come out.
Anyway Jason, I want an Ultra Mammoth too, but if you want I can add a second sub for you and put the rest of your figures on eBay here. Give me a PM if you're interested (soon, naturally- the sub is only open until Monday).

Oh toss. TFCC said I couldn't have a subscription until I signed up to the fan club then they said I couldn't have a subscription because the deadline had expired half an hour ago. Apparently 10th of September means midnight at the beginning of 10th of September rather than, say, end of business.
Sorry Jason. The club have said they'll have some extras available on their store each time there's a figure released I'll see if I can get you an Ultra Mammoth and whatnot nearer the time.

Cutting it off at midnight this morning definately does sound like them. Although in all fairness, they did give us almost a month with the subscription period open.

I just got an email from them today that suggests the cut off point is midnight tonight. I wonder if Nick was speaking to... er.... a... um.... challenged (?) member of the TFCC team.
That was as polite as I could make it.
Marc.

That was what the automatic message was on the website. I was annoyed that they couldn't have put that message before the "you have to renew your membership to get this" screen. Maybe I'll give them a call.

I was about to, but I went on the club site again to retry and my order went through fine. Good news Jason! I now have two more subscriptions heading here along with the mighty Hub order. They may not arrive at exactly the same time as I opted for the cheapest shipping method (plus $30 for insurance because, y'know...) but they are ordered. Yay!
Who knows what happened last night. Miscommunication on the part of the site operators.

So after years of baffling members with what exactly they have meants by midnight on a given date they finally managed to confuse themselves.
Just do it for 11.30pm to make it clear to all.
Anyway I ordered on Friday, then went away for 3 days and came back to find an email regarding the shipping address, but thankfully it hadn't stopped the order so everything appears to be set.
Just saw the group shot with Circuit Breakdown and Slipstream, Circuit looks fantastic.

So... does anyone know when the first of these guys is due to be released? I thought at least one would be out by now.
It occurred to me this morning that if my American odyssey is to come to an end and I start a new Ph.D back in Britain I'll have to deal with all of TMUK's subscriptions that are currently aimed at my present US residence. Asking my flatmates to post them on seems like an awfully big favour. This is quite the conundrum, and I'm open to suggestions as I rewrite my CV.
