Really not sure about the 2014 BH Deluxe. Upsized Legions for simpler TF fair enough but there's no extra articulation here. And the Terrorcons seem to have lost their combining pegs! The more I look at them, the more Smokescreen and (especially) Bumblebee look like oversized KOs. The Terrorcons less so but they were always better than average Legions. and even then they've lost a big selling point in the combination gimmick! and the red on BB! No a random splash of colour makes it look much less like a KO, noooooooooo... What they shold have done is held off on the black version and used that for the upscaled BB. Here we have something that can be directly compared to the current Prime BB and found wanting in everyway!

A cheap and nasty repaint?

Added two more to my ranks.
Skystalker was one of the ones I was looking forward to. He's the biggest letdown yet. He's the simplest transformer I can think of. Stand him up on his hind legs, collaps his neck into his chest and open the mouth, and rotate the front claws around to fists. And that's pretty much it.
Also... while he looked gorgeous in his early pictures, the blue on blue with white accents doesn't work as well in person. Also, he's completely inable to stand up in robot mode. Honestly? This is the worst transformer Hasbro has made to date. The transformations of the large pretenders, and the actionmaster elites are more clever. And this... hasbro thinks is too difficult for kids?!? THIS IS TOO COMPLEX?!? That said, a clever customizer could make a new beast head and get rid of the wings, and make a pretty convencing xenomorph TF out of it.
And the other one is BH Ultra Magnus. And I'm actually pleased with this one. He's not without some minor quibbles, but over all he's really much more of what I expect from a toy of his size and price range. He's complex without being difficult, which to me is the balance I like. He's also fiddly. My only real critiques are that he needed red on his forearms, I wish he had a wrist swivle, his shoulder kibble makes his arm movements a bit awkward, but those are more or less nitpicks. What I think they could have done better is he's fairly floppy. His joints really needed to be tighter. An undocumented feature is his hammer's handle is sculpted to double as a gun barrel, to which if you don't like the hammer, you can mount it on his arm as a cannon.
He can also work well on the repaint department. A straight repaint, while ditching the hammer for a sword,a nd he'd be a brilliant TFP Motormaster/Menasor. And with a new head, and replacing the hammer with an effin' huge gun, and I think he'd be a decent pre-beast Big Convoy.
So... Skystalker is not worth buying, even on clearance, unless you're a completionist.
While BH Ultra Magnus is one of the few TFP toys that has actually made me happy.

At Botcon ALL the Target exclusives were also listed as Tesco and some other place probably Canadian or Australian chain.
I want to make the ALL clear as so much good stuff is included in that list including Double Dealer.
So safe bet this will be over here. I didn't catch the Thunderclash homage, as the colours arent that exact, but till they do a new TC they never will be, being such an odd arrangement. Makes my lack of Skyquake even more annoying.

That truly is mental. Possibly worth picking up just for the crocodile-head-on-chain weapon.

Cindersaur! I didn't even know that was coming! -Jim He was in the Botcon pics (see pic 130) but he's labelled Rippersnapper there. Similarly Smokescreen is also shown as an individual toy (pic133). Surely they didn't put the wrong toys in? Incidentally there's another 2 pack shown there (pic 81) Night Shadow BB & a red Blight. Hmmmm.... Blight & Rippersnapper are repainted here. Windrzazor returns as Divebomb and Blight (again) as Rot Gut.

There's also a Shockwave & Hardshell 2 pack in the same pics. Dunno if they're out yet.

Picked up Darksteel- The Predacons Rising repaint of Grimwing. Feel this mold is an extremely weak Voyaget, and full of "wtf?" decision making on it's designer parts. He has the simplest transformation I've encountered yet. They didn't even try to make it have any real steps. Stand the beast up, fold the head down into chest, and flip the robot head out of beast neck. He actually makes skystalker and Laserback seem complicated. Worse yet, is there are absolutely zero tabs or pegs to keep the beast head/neck in place when in robot mode. None at all. At the voyager price, he is the worst value of them all. I would give him an F+
Megatron- I will not call him Sharkticon Megatron like everyone else, because he has nothing in common with a sharkticon. He only vaguely has some sharkticon colors. Not many. This is not a complaint about the toy, it's a commentary on the fandom's overeagerness to jump the gun and label everything. I don't have Prime Megatron, so I don't know how much was changed. However, this is the first Megatron toy that is visually interesting to look at since before the movie (With the exception of the TFA Helicopter megs, but not his cybertron mode). He's colorful, but dark and menacing colors at the same time. He also strongly feels like coral. I'm overall satisfied with him, however he has the derpiest headsculpt I've seen in a long time. It's like they got Pat Lee to draw it, and went to town on "dull suprise." He could also really do with a tab to keep his waist in place, as his joints are pretty floppy. And a warning, his weapon WILL break his hand. It snapped the thumb off mine. But, it's a decent toy.
Starscream- Don't really have a whole lot to say. Except it beats the snot out of the regular TFP voyagerscream. He's got some great sculpting, but suffers from "Hide the entire robot under the plane" transformation, which isn't terribly uncommon for all fliers. It's not worth $16, but cheaper than that I prefer it more than any of the predacons I've gotten. His joints are ubertight. So much so that the cheap plastic hasbro uses worries me that I'll snap his arm off just trying to use it. On the flipside, mine has exceptionally loose ankles. But I've been told by others who have it that this seems to be a problem for mine, and not general. He's a fun enough toy that's worth owning. And I think he'd make a brilliant pre-earth Swoop.

Yeah.. looking at the bh toys, I sometimes try justifying their existence by comparing them to G1 characters… recently I thought about how Dreadwing is actually Needlenose… sort of…

I have a friend who has picked up BH Dreadwing.
He normally has a far, far better opinion of BH and Prime figures than I do. For instance, he really likes Laserback, and he loves Grimwing. Both of which I can't stand.
And he's not impressed at all with Dreadwing. He said that the transformation is so simple it's stupid, and it just over all doesn't work very well. Not for him at least. I was on the fence, hemming and hawing over him for a while. But based on his opinion, I made him a definate pass.

There have been 20 different toys of Aligned Bumblebee. Not all of those are the mainline toy, though. Included are Rescue Bots, WfC, FE,a nd Cyberverse. The Mainline is the most used Bumblebee, though. According to TFU.Info, there's: BumblebeeHostshotShadowstrike BumblebeeBeast Hunters BumblebeeBH Shadowstrike Bumblebee So... I believe five.

I had a quick look else where. so I am maybe cheating, but I counted 9 different uses of this mold. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more though.
