Did you class Hasbro RID and Takara Arms Micron as different? The takara has been remolded for AM ports. So my nine: RID Bumblebee RID Hotshot RID Shadow Strike Bumblbee AM Bumblebee Dark Energon Bumblebee Terrorcon Bumblebee BH Bumblebee BH Night Shadow Bumblbee and finally BH Nova Blast Bumblebee I got this from tfwiki.net/wiki/Bumblebee_(WFC)#Prime

I thought the terrorcon and dark energon used the FE mold, like the NYCC taxi. Yeah. Didn't know they gave that deco yet another name.

FE is a deluxe, also. But you're right. I never really paid attention to the Dark Energon subline, being the most gobsmackingly pointless repaints I could think of (METAL IS NOT SEE-THROUGH, UNLESS SCOTTY MAKES IT SO!) Everything else that line used were FE where applible, so I guess I just assumed it was too.

I know the common opinion on the new simplified transformation/larger size Prime Voyagers is that the idea is a poor one, but having spent the afternoon having immense fun with some of my older, simpler Transformers I saw Seibertron's new gallery for the upcoming Prime figure tonight and looking at this I know which of those four looks the best robot mode to me: Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Optimus Prime (2014) GalleryIt looks hollow from the back, but from the front to me that is such a better robot than the BH Prime, and I like that one. The size is amazing too, are these really going to be the same price point? The only issue with that for me is the stupid faces they're giving these Primes. There doesn't look to be that much less detail to me, and as a toy I'll stick my neck out and say I really quite like it. Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Optimus Prime (2014) Gallery

I don't have a problem with the idea of upsizing simpler designs. With this Prime they more of less seem to have gotten the right balance. It's big, nice proportions, mostly nice sculpt (head ugh!) and it appears to have a reasonable range of articulations. I think I'm past buying any more Prime or BH, but thats the one I'd get from those four.
It's that last bit that is missing on Prowl. A deluxe toy that appears to have not leg articulation beyond the hip and arms that only move at the shoulder are just embarrassing.
Other good examples of upsizing are the Poundland Robotmaster flipchangers. The Jetfire and the green one that became my Botcon Waspinator are fantastic.

The green on that Prime is just wrong.
Both BB and Smokescreen don't bring anything new to the table and have limited articulation. Pass.
Wind razor and Twinstrike are fab though. Beef up the Articulation with ball joints at elbows and knees, and release the other three Terrorcons at the same size with the combining ability intact and the people would snap those up.
Those oversized KO flipchangers and Cyberjets were good.
I think it's a matter of choosing the right toy.

I just discovered that the prime legends class predaking's wings pop right off and pop right into the back of legends sinner twin with no modification. They maintain full ball joint flexibility and work in both modes as well as look rather splendid.

Far more intriguing than yesterday's exercise!
New moulds? Repaints? Remoulds of more recent toys?

They're both deluxes. So Breakdown is probably Siege Hound, and the vehicon is probably either sunstreaker or runamuck

Post by Bogatan on Sept 9, 2020 13:34:11 GMT
It doesnt say specifically that both are deluxes. As Breakdown doesnt quite fit any size class it cant be put on the box. Yeah yeah. I know it will be an Ironhide or Hound repaint. A blue Ironhide sounds quite good. Anything but a Vehicon reissue is going to seem quite pointless. Though a Vehicon reissue also seems vaguely pointless unless its got some ludicrously fancy paint job.

It only says deluxe class on the box.
