Aww man. I'd love to have seen a Generations vehicon. Clever release, though. Two desirable figures released to play on the completist gene of collectors. I know I lusted after a pair of Takara vehicons and went out of my way to get them at the time.

I remember Prime came out at about the time I joined this forum, which is not very long after my daughter was born. And I didn't watch a single episode of the series until 2 or so years ago when she discovered it on Netflix and dragged me into watching it with her. I think this hasn't helped with the feeling of time flying for me!

No. The only acceptable toy of that Autobot in TFUS #1 is one that actually has the head from the G1 Hound toy and the legs from the G1 Trailbreaker toy.

Soooo... The War Breakdown set has already been and gone on ID. Anyone wanting this might be advised to keep an eye on Kapow in the morning as they've indicated their preorders will go up then.

Having not realised pre-orders for this were going up I managed to miss that. But in doing so realised I'm at peace with not having the set, and I can just wait and hope to see if the success of the set will mean they'll also release the Silas Breakdown version of the mold, which is the one I really want.
Also good to see Darkness Megatron getting a re-issue. I've got the original Takara release, and it's gorgeous.

If I didn't already have the air Vehicon twice over I'd be salivating over this, but I've no real interest in Breakdown. The clips from the show they put on yesterday did remind me though how good it was. It was quite a shock seeing that quality of animation again.

I could be up for all of these... I enjoyed Arms Micron so much the first time around, and was a bit stupid to cancel my Breakdown preorder only for him to become gold dust as soon as he was released.
I have the Shockaract repaint of the Megatron mould and it is very nice indeed, could be tempted by that if it isn't too expensive. Is the photo filtered in some way or are the colours different to the original release? It looks like there's more black there?

No, those colours look to be the same as on mine. Just depends how it photographs and how the photos look in different light.

Ah, thanks! That's a good tip - it asked if I wanted to view zavvi.de, where the shipping is very cheap. For the price I would have paid on TF Robots I got both this and the Megatron set (if you include shipping).
