actually there's usually new PR floatinng around the last few weeks before christmas.
Transformers did this in the UK in 1998: There were Biocombat Transmetals on the shelves before Christmas. Ah, good times.

According to the latest Toys 'N' Playthings, Prime will launch in March. But this is according to (presumably) Hasbro's own copy that would have been provided at least a month before going to press, so the above-mentioned January could be more accurate.

actually there's usually new PR floatinng around the last few weeks before christmas. PR Samurai stuff surfaced in the Spring long after the US release. That's why I get the American released waves nowadays. 1988 was a fantastic Christmas for Transformers toys. Micromasters being a highlight for me.

Not tht I know of. Reports coming in on Facebook say RID Cliffjumper is inferior to first edition CJ, swapping the blasters for 1 axe, voyager Megs has gold parts (?!) and even though BB has two blasters he has to hold them in his hands, though the last one is based on the catalogue pics.

Wait. What. I am so confused. I thought Prime was called First Edition. Is RID coming back?

So....no, wait. That makes no sense. The toy-line has a different name from the TV show that the toys are based on? That's...that's staggeringly stupid. That's mindboggling.

There there, Ralph. The kids know what they are, and relatives go by descriptions usually (the blue motorbike, the new Bumblebee from the cartoon etc). We'll be okay.
