Horrible idea in my opinion. The joe crossovers are nearly always dreadful and that preview image is ugly imo. I'll prob give it a go, but it will have a hard job on to get me back for issue 2.

Art reminds me of the ladybird books from way back. Yet to be overwhelmingly impressed by any GI Joe crossover...

I rather liked the John Ray Neiber/Jae Lee World War III one. Most of the other recent ones haven't done much for me though.

Yes, I liked that one too, I just wish Jae Lee hadn't drawn the Transformers in the Pathetic Pat Lee Pandering Pictorial style, the only bum note.

I can't say I've ever been impressed by a GI Joe crossover. This is what, the millionth now?

The best one so far was the one with Action Force.

I always liked the crossover in G2 (not the Megatron tank origin in GI Joe). For once it had a realistic vibe of the Joes being badly outclassed, yet showing their very human scrambling to save something, anything but ultimately not measuring up to a war with giant robots from another world. And all in a handful of pages as well..

So much fun. So much hatred in the comments, so sad. I didn't even think of reading those, though I knew while reading the preview how some fans would be reacting to certain things - and what do you know, it all comes out in those comments. Not a single positive one for what is a beautifully crafted, joyful comic. And they clearly don't get that some of what they're reacting against is deliberate on the part of not-stupid writers. Stuff that lot, I consider this further evidence that we're in a new golden age of Transformers comics! -Jim

Love it. Ignoring the comments as the vast majority of Transformers fans are comics illiterate.

Ok, now *that* has convinced me to get this!
But I don't understand why Starscream doesn't change into an F-15.

I liked the preview.
Most of the comments are from obvious idiots whose inane babble smacks of inability to comprehend basic English.

I like the look of that preview. In terms of pacing, and the dialogue it really does nail the sensibility of early GI Joe. Scarlett shooting Duke down is note-perfect to her early characterisation. Love the sense of pace. The art style is a really good pastiche of Kirby's style. Shaping up to be a fun-looking title.
I did read the comments. I really wished I hadn't, it upset me. (Except for the person who was angered by the fact that Snake Eyes currently has a face seen on panel, that amused me - if I recall correctly this is not the first TF/GI Joe crossover to show us Snake Eye's face, I seem to recall that he is one of the survivors of Cobra's assault on the National Mall in the first Devils Due one).
