I like the first Nativity movie but everything I've seen or heard about this movie signals disaster. Still, I've recorded it out of curiosity and will torture myself at some point this week.

I actually own it. The missus likes Christmas films so we buy a few each year. It's not terrible. The role is much more Martin Freeman though.

A number of year ago I bought Andu and Ralph a double pack of the first two nativity films.
They gave it away.
I still feel the pain of this rejection.
Sadly I've not been able to find a Nativity triple pack :-(

My fear is that its the same movie with a slightly zanier Mr Poppy and 2 less charismatic lead characters. The 3rd one just popped up as part of Amazon Prime streaming and I'll need to watch that to finish off the trilogy. I'm not looking forward to it.

I think Creature from the Pit is much more of a Panto than Horns of Nimon. At least Nimon tries to be a proper Doctor Who story, Pit has panto oozing out of every crevice in the characters/performances.

Article on Rentasanta, the Rentaghost Christmas special that was the last appearance of the original cast and the first appearance of Dobbin the pantomime horse. timworthington.blogspot.co.uk/2015/12/rentasanta.htmlYou may recognise the costumes the ghosts are wearing at the end....

Well yes, obviously Rentasanta is the story which introduces Dobbin who's actors are inside the Myrka. But the three photos from the end credits which are above Dobbin!
