Slightly modified version of it. Might need to make the windows a tiny bit smaller though. I do want him to be in darkness, as that's really where he is in the story, both in the "present" sense with events on Hydrus Four and on Cybertron as he looks back, as he's faced with the realisation that the Autobots would appear to be doomed to war for all their lives.
M, the eyes might glow - depends on whether I do a modern colour palette or a more retro colour choice.
The 2 different faction symbols I thought made a nice touch, just to show us we have an Optimus straddling the two series - The Trans Formers and Generation 2.

Windows smaller I agree but think you have nailed it.

Not sure I approve of the G2 Autobot symbol, as it's rather anachronistic. ATAP was an endpiece to the TF series. The G2 series (and toyline) had yet to be conceived - and G2 could only be reconciled with ATAP after extensive fan retconning. Yeah, I know the bit at the end of Part 2 shows that SF had an idea of a bigger Decepticon threat out there, but I'm not sure Hasbro's G2 Autobot symbol particularly links in to that.
I hate to say it, but RG1 has more of ATAP about it than G2 does.

The G2 logo is still there, will print off a dummy when coloured and see how it looks before the final version.

Andy Looks awesome. I have never read it so have no real idea, but I assumed it would be issue 333 of a 4 issue limited series?

Andy Looks awesome. I have never read it so have no real idea, but I assumed it would be issue 333 of a 4 issue limited series? Just because Marvel UK said 333 would only have 5 pages of new content I opted for a US themed version. Plus I did an issue 333 for Scotcon waay back in 2003. Andy

That wouldn't have worked - the UK comic was never a limited series, let alone a 4-issue one. I approve of Andy's text. This story was plugged in US #80 after all. Prime in the logo box is very nice, but watch which shoulder has the Autobot symbol on it... Martin

I had originally planned to bring some of my original TF comic art for a show and tell display/talk but we really don't have the attendance numbers to justify it now. Another time, I think. It would take quite a but of effort and planning so I'd rather leave it for a bigger crowd.
There will, however, be a colouring competition featuring art from ten year old Ralph...

I have just finished re-lettering ATAP Book 1 and have three panels to redraw. Once that's done I just need to edit the A to Z and then the cover gets some pretty colours.

Hi. I'm new to these boards (current post count: 2), but Andy made the mistake of mentioning Scotcon on another forum. As a Southerner who's recently found himself uprooted and dumped in Glasgow I thought I'd take the opportunity to try meeting up with some Transformers fans from the other side of the Wall. Provided that no-one has any objections to a gate-crasher, that is... And that my other-half (and the reason for me being in these lands) hasn't actually got something already planned for these dates.

Not a case of gatecrashing, you'd be most welcome - Scotcon has always been an "all welcome" event anyways. Look forward to seeing you there.
