So a handy location for all those Lego fanatics who want to go and build their own mini figures.

Funnily enough it wasn't something that came up when Ralph and I were discussing locations.

So then! Time to talk seriously.
When and where are folks venue-ing on Friday (if indeed they are so doing)?
I have some mobile phone numbers from last year, but if anyone wants to PM me their current for emergencies I'll be glad to take note.
Wouldn't mind having a flick through of RG1 #100 at some point in the weekend if anybody has a copy.

As documented elsewhere I'll be in Oxford until Friday night. I'll be getting a train up at the crack of doom on Saturday and should be with you fine chaps by noon.

I'll either be through late Friday evening or Saturday morning. Not sure yet, due to Real Life. Leaving Saturday evening at any rate.
I have not been able to find anything decent as Slightly Fabulous Prizes for the titanic return of THE YOMTOV FACTOR in shops (thin pickings out there TF wise) so will have to make do with what I find in my cupboard...

Due to ongoing "stuff" I don't think that I will be able to be around on the Friday. I am however looking forward to coming through on the Saturday. Have to see how I go as to whether I am around on the Sunday.

Well, if numbers are down on the Sunday and there's a decent cinema in central Glasgow, does anyone who is around fancy seeing either Captain America: The Winter Soldier or Muppets Most Wanted at some point?

Well I will be making my way through to Glasgow on Friday night after work.
Kick off on Saturday will be from 10am at Waxy O'Connors (pub just round the corner from Glasgow Queen Street Train station and FPG) and we shall have our usual japery as the day goes on and folks arrive. I'm based in Glasgow till Monday am anyway (when my hotel kick me out).
I shall pm my up to date mobile to folks.
I'll bring along a copy of RG100 for you to thumb through Martin. As for Cinema, I dare say I could manage that at some point.

In the Premier inn on Charing Cross, along the end of Sauchiehall Street. It's my usual hotel in Glasgow.

I shall probably be staggering into Waxy's at around midday, I guess, by the time I manage to escape from home. (Yes, escape. Nothing at all to do with the fact that I don't understand the concept of being active before 1000hrs on a Saturday...)

Sorted for meeting up on Saturday. Still lacking instructions for where and when to meet anyone Friday evening...

Wish I was coming but the tripple whammy of Liz's Birthday, her working and Mother's day demands my presence here at the Death Fortress :-(
Rule 1 still applies though.

Martin I finish at 4 (but that's if I get out in time) so by the time I get up the road and grab my stuff I will be hopping on a train to Glasgow (via the burger) so I think the best thing would be to meet you at your hotel at half 7. Gives me time to get in and dump my bags and we can decide when and where. If anyone else is about I can message them and let them know where we are. Andy

See you in the foyer/reception/entrance/whatever of Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Theatreland on W. Nile Street at 7.30 tomorrow. I see it's right next to a Cineworld, which makes it highly likely that I'll see one or both of the films on my list at some point over the weekend. Martin

Tomorrow is Scotcon Eve. Woooohoooo.
I still need to confirm how long I shall be attending for each day. It all depends on if I can get my lackey to see to the dogs or not for me. I didn't think he would, but he may at least be able to see to them for Saturday.

Hope all who attend have a blast.
Sad to be missing out, but if I had planned to go, health issues would have put a spanner in the works.
Enjoy the weekend folks!

I shall grab a nice early train through to Planet Glasgow on Saturday morning, aiming to be there for the tenish or thereabouts. Still to be determined whether I am around on Sunday, I would like to be but it will be determined by how I do on the saturday. Looking forward to seeing folk though - knowing that Scotcon was around the corner has been a very positive thing for me the last couple of weeks.
Just a shame that you can't make it Phil and Marc. You shall be remembered in the Halls though
