What sort of time is it likely to start? I've just been asked if I can attend a Katie Morag thing at the BBC on the Saturday morning with the fiancee and the Cub. Which is at 1000hrs, so I guess there might be time...

What sort of time is it likely to start? When do the pubs open? and to answer your next question when the last Chicken Pakora supplier closes after the Pubs do.

Yup. That about covers it.
I'm thinking of turning Scotcon weekend into Scotcon long weekend. My batteries are pretty much drained already.

Hmm. That opens at 1000hrs. Which clashes with the Katie Morag thing. That would be.. a shame... yes...

Nah, even just counting me, Nick, Andy and yourself we will be more than three even before we count Martin into the mix. :-)
I am aiming to be around on the Saturday, whether I am around on the Sunday and if so for how long depends on a number of imponderables related to my health and various assorted whatnots, but I shall definitely be in attendance in some capacity.

I can't afford hotel costs and travel on multiple days as Scotcon falls into the same pay packet period as a comic event in Edinburger in April so I will likely just be popping through on the Saturday morning and returning home to the Burger late evening.

I am absolutely burnt out and will be looking to turn Scotcon weekend into a long weekend. I'm being sent to the CLF again on the Thursday and Friday so I'll try to get a train from Oxford straight to Glasgow. I've no idea how much more this will cost and frankly at this point I don't care.

The Edinburgh-Oxford ticket price can be quite high so my advice is to book ASAP.

Thanks. I'll look into it this evening.
EDIT: Cheapest single is £121, one way. I think I may have to go back to Brum first.

Glad to hear that you'll be able to make it up Nick, t'will be good to see you again. A shame you can't make the Sunday Ralph, but I can understand - the ticket prices from here to Glasgow are bad enough, even before adding the same again for the Edinburgh - falkirk distance.

Looks like I will only be making the Saturday, because - and this may be a useful heads up - it's Mother's Day on the Sunday. Now having moved some distance up North I won't have to pay tribute to my own mother (apart from remotely), but I will probably have to organise something for the Cub to do with my other half...

So how much of the weekend has been allocated to spending time in the Lego store?
