Something just struck me today - RiD Strongarm's blue and white colour scheme is exactly the same as Hasbro's other Strongarm, the 2015 NERF Strongarm having adopted it broader sections of white trim compared to last years deco...

Looks cheap and nasty.
I'm buying him. He's a stag headed transforming tractor.
There is no choice. THE KOSPEGO COMMANDS!

A three-step changer where one of the steps is "lay car down on its wheels"...! Um. Yes...

I'm wondering if this 'Clash of the Transformers' sub-line is like the Predacons Rising one, that had repaint legion two packs.

Hmm. For some reason I'm finding those more appealing in two-packs...

I am staying clear of this line. Too much else coming out. I need Thunderhoof (KOSPEGO COMMANDS!), but apart from that my experiences with the initial bunch of Warriors have put me off.

Just as long as they come with an appealing price, I could be tempted. (Yes. Yes it's always about the price.)

I've not bought anything yet, but tempted by the Legions. The up & coming G1 painted Grimlcok, as seen in the TF app, is a must though

Oooh. Now that is nice. Now if only they'll do that with the upscaled legends in the Generations Cyber Series range. That'd be cool.

So gold armour grimlock turns out to be slightly muddy orange grimlock in the flesh. More AoE than G1. I suppose it would need takara to bring out the shiny paint to make him look like the art.

I have to say that he looks to have as much grey armour as he does orange. Not really getting a "Gold" vibe from him. I do wonder if the case make-up is going to do them any favours. The Deluxe Prime is already shelfwarming in Smyths here. (The only place that actually has any NuRiD larger than Legions on shelves - other than a case of one-step changers which have been in Asda's "2 for £15 please take these things away) sale since they came in).
The RiD Deluxes in general are selling better than Combiner Wars though, they are selling one or two units every couple of weeks by the look of it. Unlike CW, where the initial cases sold out very quickly and then...nothing moves at all.

Hang on. I've just realised that I also complain when things get G1 decos, because we should move on from G1 decos. And here I am loving a G1-homaging RiD Grimlock. Well... That's because I like it better than the green and black! (But not more than Green and Blacks. Mmm... Green and Blacks' chocolate...) I can be a hypocrite when it suits me! ;-)

I love how Asian-based online retailers are now stocking waves that haven't even been solicited to US-based online retailers yet.
We're slowly reaching a point where product A is only available in Mongolia, product B is only available in Uzbekistan, and product C is only available from Joey's Unreliable Interweb Store.
