Poor Ahab.
He could still be a future Cable of sorts. He could easily have been the clone at some point, and then after his work as Ahab doesn't work, become Stryfe, none of this random Dr Rory pish.

The Tryptich poster is a very interesting look at what might be and what Claremont was intending at this point - there's a similar one for New Mutants in Annual 6. That NM Annual 6 poster is the first appearance of Shatterstar, a good few months before his appearance in NM 99. From the same page above: There's another image in NM 92 of a New Mutants team that didn't come to be: www.therealgentlemenofleisure.com/2015/07/x-amining-new-mutants-92.html

Bizarrely the ending of House of X would be the perfect way to end the X-Men if they did a last issue.
Brilliant stuff. Cannot wait to get a nice collection of this.

Trade.
Reading it weekly has helped it immensely. I'm not sure how well 3 and a bit issues and a four week gap would help it's readabilty given the way the story is structured.

Down the line I imagine so. Nothing on the radar yet. Marvel know there's a hit here so they'll milk the HC for a bit.
When I spot them I'll lyk, but we're talking June 2020 at the earliest

Rather pleased about the New Mutants: Cable Epic Collection, even though I've bought the material within loads of times. Which leads me to ask..... how many times have you bought New Mutants 87? Me: Original Print
Cable and New Mutants trade
Cable Classic v1
Digital Cable Classic v1
Cable & The New Mutants HC
Digital Cable & The New Mutants HC The Epic will do two more in paper and digital forms. Can anyone do better? Andu?

There is a HoxPox TPB hitting at the end of Feb at more normal TPB type prices: www.booksetc.co.uk/books/view/-9781846533884Discovered this while looking up when the subsequent new X-books will be collected, and it looks like they're all collected together under Dawn of X? I had been planning on skipping some of the series, so that's a bit annoying. EDIT: my mistake, it looks like the series will be collected individually, but a couple of months later.

Comixology have a nice X-Men/FF sale on - a few epics in there worth having - so I thought I'd avail myself of digital versions of the pre Onslaught trades while they were cheap..... and have got increasingly annoyed! Road To Onslaught: OneUncanny X-Men (1963) #322-326
X-Men (1991) #42-45 & Annual '95
X-Men Unlimited (1993) #8
X-Men Prime #1 TwoUncanny X-Men (1963) #327-328, Annual '95
X-Men (1991) #46-49
X-Men Unlimited (1993) #9
X-Men/Clandestine #1-2 & Sabretooth (1995) #1 ThreeUncanny X-Men (1963) 329-332
X-Men (1991) 50-52
X-Men Unlimited (1993) 10,
Archangel 1, X-Men/Brood 1-2, Wolverine (1988) 101, Xavier Institute Alumni Yearbook Ok so far? Good. The main Onslaught books start with Uncanny X-Men #335,
X-Men (1991) #53-54 So there's two Uncanny issues missing in the gap, 333 and 334. There's also now a Prelude to Onslaught trade: Uncanny X-Men #333
X-Men (1991) #50
X-Man #15-17 and Cable (1993) #32-33 ONE of the missing Uncanny X-Men issues, but not the other AND a duplicate of an X-Men issues <screams> Now it's going to take me a while to get through these but does anyone know if these contents are correct? And if it is, why leave one issue out which looks to be connected?? ?? ?? <screams again!>

The problem with O:Zt was how quickly they pulled back from the premise afterwards. Also I can't order any of those X-Men Milestones book - that trade dress is repugnant.
