Err, right. I suppose he could go with Inferno as FortMax says, but the colour clash would be so ferocious it would surpass even G2 standards.

My friend put his wreck-gar on Inferno, and it actually doesn't clash at all. It looks like a big hotrod style flame detail. It really works for a dude named Inferno who turns into a fire truck.

If you wanna repurpose him so you don't got multiple Wreck-Gars, two other orange bikes are Cybertron Lugnutz, and Armada Sureshock

I saw the pics. In usual Phil fashion it made me wish I'd bought the platinum Wreck-Gar set. Phil is very good at making me want to buy things.

This goes a little beyond CW but .... Ralph made an interesting point last weekend when he played with either Select Stepper or Golden Lagoon Bling StarscreamThe thing is, it's not that I've got over my Comineritus, it's more I have nobody to combine him with! Here's the current line up of Combiner Wars combiners 1) Superion 2) Menasor 3) Defensor 4) Bruticus These are all in their 1986 configurations, with the original 86 characters as limbs. With the exception of Menasor, I also have Unite Warriors versions of these. Then there's the CW boxsets 5) G2 Superion 6) G2 Menasor 7) G2 Bruticus 8) Victorion 9) Computron 10) Liokaiser 11) Botcon Predicus All as per on the box as are the UW boxsets 12) Grand Galvatron 13) Computron 14) Megatronia 15) CR Baldigus 16) Lynxmaster Linxmaster: I've also got a CW Sky Reign, who doesn't get used as it was easier to get a Smokescreen double to use elsewhere than a UW Ratchet. And lastly the completed POTP combiners 17) Volcanicus 18) Abominus Now we're onto make your own terittory. Firstly from CW: 19) Optimus Maximus: Red Optimus Prime with Autobots Effectively the w4 Autobots using the red w1 Op. I prefer this to the white Battle Core Op which screams Ultra Magnus to me. 20) Galvatronus: Cyclonus with Alpha Bravo, Off Road, Rook & Jet Blast Off Galvatronus' on box version mixes factions so I have no hesitation on doing that and using up the four replacement character limbs from the original combiner. 21) Nemesis Primal: UW Grand Scourge with Tigatron, Unit-3, Terrorsaur and Fractyl Again no problem mixing factions with Scourge - if Galvatron can do it, he can, and it keeps the spare BW limbs together. Couple of slightly controversial ones now, as they use doubles. The first should only be a temporary measure: 22) Elita Infinite: Elita-1 with 2 x Moonracer and 2 x Novastar, subbing for Greenlight & Lancer Greenlight's coming. Lancer almost certainly is too. The second I'm more worries might be a bit more permanent: 23) Starscream Jet Combiner with 2 x Blackwing & 2 Dreadwind, subbing for Buster & Hydra or Thundercracker & Skywarp I want an all 'con jet combiner, but sadly Hasbro doesn't want to give me the last two jets, either Buster & Hydra from Blackwing & Dreadwind or Thundercracker & Skywarp from UW Starscream. I might have used Bling Starscream here but it's Starscream as the body. I could have used Terrorsaur and Fractyl, but that breaks up the BW set. HASBRO: More CW Decepticon Jets We're now into "Phil's made it up" territory: 24) Inferno with Wreck-Gar, Jazz, Smokescreen & Bluestreak An Autobot car combiner. Wreck-Gar makes up the numbers until one of the missing from the Diaclone 18 gets made as a CW character (Sideswipe, Red Alert, Skids, Hoist & Tracks: Grapple needs doing too, but I'd imagine he'd be an Inferno remould/repaint. 25) Ultra Maximus: Battle Core Op as Ultra Magnus, Impactor, SG Starscream, Medix & Punch The white Battle Core Op has always screamed Ultra Magnus inner robot at me so teaming him with Impactor seemed logical and the rest are what I limbs had at the time. That leaves Bling Starscream, Ricochet and the Voyager Toxitron I'd forgotten about till this afternoon. I also have a spare Swoop of whatever colour doesn't end up on Volcnicus - blue probably, any renaming suggestions?

The world of combining has been shaken this weekend by one photo, revealing a hitherto hidden feature: The Seacon Targetmaster mode mounts, using the CW connector in the back of Piranicon's fist. Turns out it's not just Piranicon's fists that do this: Any POTP Prime Armour can hold a CW connector. And what else has a Prime Armour got? 5mm pegs and holes. Time for some new combiner torsos. This is the best one I've seen so far because it plugs an obvious gap: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Waspshot23/status/1155947219419201536

Take the cover/gun off a Prime Armour. There's a space underneath meant for a Prime Master. A Combiner Wars connector will fit snuggly in there.
So CW limbs fit into POTP amrour.
POTP Armour attaches using a 5mm post.
So put POTP armour into 5mm posts - and Siege Voyagers have them in some very convenient places, hence the Megatron pic.
I will take some photos

What amazes me is that it's taken this long for anyone to realise that hole will fit a combiner peg. I mean it's so obvious! Why didn't we realise?! Were they designed like that? Why didn't Hasbro use that as a play feature?!

It's okay, this is just a tidier way of stacking toys. None of the parts are being actually switched, after all, merely... combined.
