I've given Hulks a reprieve from being dropped when they ran out of She-Hulk stories as after a bad start the Doc Green version of Hulk finally got interesting and at last the Red Hulk got beat and depowered! An end to that shit character!

I have now caught up with Avengers and have now seen how it was explained away that Magneto was not the father of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Words fail me, but at least the art was good.
Was any editing done to the Vision/Eve stuff from the US issues? It seemed to go very suddenly from "We have just met!" to "We are having babies!".

Opened this month's Marvel Legends last night to find the cover had been stapled on upside down. Outrageous.

I quite agree, yet another stupid decision driven by the Movies and the Fox/Marvel fallout.

Opened this month's Marvel Legends last night to find the cover had been stapled on upside down. Outrageous. It might be worth more - like X-men #25 when the hologram was put on upside down.

You bought a comic that reprints something you already own?

I think he did. In Phil's defence today I finally cracked and went to pick up Civil War #1 but #2 was now out and #1 was gone so bullet dodged. I put it back. Instead I picked up the first ongoing Spidey comic I have bought since 'One More Day'. It was a comic on a UK newsstand that said 'SECRET WARS' on it. I was overwhelmed with nostalgia. I will not be able to stop myself from buying any UK newsstand comic that says SECRET WARS on it. I know it is not the original SW but the old UK title was the first comic series I got on a regular basis every issue (I still have them from back in the day other than #1-3 which are lost to me). Before then I would get random comics. -Ralph

I see from Civil War's next issue preview that they're printing Thunderbolts! Excellent, loved the Civil War tier in issues of that, got me grabbing the trades.

I had a quick look in the comic at Tesco last night #2. But not picked anything up since 2008.

Purely by coincidence I just bought that because it was a 100 pager and the cover looked good. Wasn't intending to, I was just after Universe. It's got Planet Hulk #1-2 and A-Force #1-2 in. Are they any good? worth reading?

No idea. The original Planet Hulk series is well worth owning and I wanted to read A-Force.
To the shops!

I admit I'm relatively new to reading Marvel 'properly', but I'm finding these titles really exciting. I feared not enjoying Axis because everyone here was negative about it, but I really liked it, and I recall there being a fairly muted reaction to Secret Wars too, but having just gorged myself on this month's 100 page launch issue I'm gripped! It's great stuff! No idea why there are so many Thors, but I think by the end of issue 3 I'd kinda worked out what's been established so far.
My mission now is to not get the storyline confused with Civil War, because juggling all these plotlines in my addled brain is not easy.

The start of Axis wangs chung but when the heroes and villains swap sides it picks up a lot.
Does Secret War make sense to you given what's been printed in the run up?
