I was too till I twigged a possible line up.
The identity of the Avengers titles is still a mystery.

I've decided to stockpile Paninivision until they finish Secret Wars and then read them all at once. This may drive me mad or give me supreme power. We shall. -Ralph Or perhaps in the best/worst case scenario both simultaneously. Karl

I enjoyed the Black Vortex story in X-Men. I liked the way it crossed over the titles of individual characters, so the story as a whole was made up of individual vignettes. Legends is consistently solid too.
Not so impressed by the middle chunk of Secret Wars. I don't think anything actually happened in parts four to six, so I'm not surprised that spread over three months originally that people grumbled. It's all very portentous, but there's bugger all going on.
Diving into Civil War #4 next!

Diving into Civil War #4 next! More Thunderbolts! Yeah, that's a nice storyline that. I'd never have read it if it weren't for this reprint. I like the way it deals with the villains' side of the registration act. So this Civil War title is covering the Thunderbolts tie in issues, and Spiderman, and the next issue box suggests The Punisher issues are coming up too. I like it. Civil War #4 was really nicely done.

I went and bought the trades of that series having read the issues round Civil War. Such a shame what happens to it afterwards. You are both dead to me, Black Vortex was pish. Oh come on... it's better than Secret Wars surely. I like all the pinging about in space stuff. There are two good X-Men in space stories: The original Dark Phoenix, and it's prologue in 107/8 and the X-Men/Brood in the 160s which is sadly unreprinted in colour. All the others are dreadful.

I've decided to stockpile Paninivision until they finish Secret Wars and then read them all at once. This may drive me mad or give me supreme power. We shall. -Ralph As of today Ralph can read Secret Wars. Reset time for three titles: Avengers seems to be a big stack of All New, All Different Avengers next issue. I'd expect Uncanny the issue after. Hulks is Hulk, A-Force and Contest of Champions as predicted here a little way back. This may earn it a reprieve. Wolverine & Deadpool is All New Wolverine and Death of Wolverine: Deadpool & Captain America. I'd expect Old Man Logan to show up at some pt. Astonishing Spider Man ISN'T pushing the new number 1 button yet and is going to print Spider-Man and the x-Men. Also reprieved. We know what X-Men is from the list of writers a few issues back. We think MWOM is Ms Marvel, Black Widow & Dr Strange. Just the Avengers titles to finally resolve and which Deadpool becomes the regular Wolverine/Deadpool backup.

didn't enjoy the last issue of hulk secret wars, just felt a bit rushed and pushed through maybe just me! don't get the resetting of numbers. The wolverine issues may become to diluted I worry but we shall see!
old man logan 0 is very very good so if the new ongoing series is added to that ill be delighted!

X-men and MWOM have at least one more issue on the current numbering, out 28th.
Legends I don't know about.
Will check Spider Man but it looks like a week of padding.
I expect number 1s across the board in August.

I love the New Thunderbolts comic, which this is part of. Went back and hunted the trades and bought it till they gave it that dreadful revamp shortly after. marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Thunderbolts_Vol_118 issues of New Thunderbolts and 10, after it reverts to being Thunderbolts with issue 100, before the revamp. The Civil War issues are Thunderbolts 103-105

Ah! Now there is an interesting question! No, really, it is! There were 7 issues for the original Civil War series and Panini's Civil War is running one of those per issue PLUS backup, so SEVEN seems the obvious answer. marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Civil_War_Vol_1The fourth issue is out now, the fifth next week 28/07/2016 Two weeks after that, 11/08/2016, Avengers Universe 1 is released, with what looks like 4 issues of All New All Different Avengers (possibly 3 + material from Avengers 0) All New All Different Avengers at Marvel WikiaTwo weeks after that, 25/08/2016, is Civil War 6 (and probably X-Men #1) Two weeks after that, 08/09/2016, is Avengers Universe 2 is released containing ? Two weeks after that, 22/09/2016, is Civil War 7 Two weeks after that, 06/10/2016, is Avengers Universe 3 Does that put us in a position to continue the Civil War Title with Civil War II? I don't think so as we need to be at All New Avengers 13 for that and I'll be VERY surprised if they don't run Uncanny Avengers alongside All New All Different. X-Men's going for all three X titles fixing it's distance behind. And there's Standoff to negotiate as well - Avengers Standoff at Wikipedia but not sure how much of that is essential. But there's enough there to make only running two Avengers titles enough to fill the book and keep up with X-Men. Do I think Marvel want the Civil War title around to use in Civil War II? Yes. So.... Option A) pad it for a few months to stretch CW with filler. They've not gone near Frontline yet and there are myriad tie ins not printed so far. Option B) pad it for a few months post Civil War. Death of Captain America issue is a good contender. Option C) put it to bed and start a new volume for Civil War 2 in X months time.

I'm guessing itll be option 3, only because theres no option to subscribe to Civil War yet I believe,(I cant find it anyway!)
The reason I asked was that I hoped they would run civil war 2 but its still fairly new in the scheme of how fast they process and show comics in the books.

yeah and civil war 2 was only printed last month? so in theory that is a fair bit of filler that is needed!

I see that Marvel Legends is going to volume 3 #1 next month.
As an aside, I have a great annoyance that Marvel US stopped referring to volume numbers in their indicia so hurray to Paninivision!
