The Omega Supreme isn't that bad, but the Optimus... inexcusable

If they do op with 2 red and 2 blue limbs then it's mine. Ditto a g1 coloured omega supreme

Yup a more traditional colour scheme was always the biggest issue with Prime, even just using two orange and two blue limbs on the existing toy improves the look. Okay also a little overweight when not in the combined mode, but the combined form was brill. An Ultra Magnus repaint too would have made much sense.
Omega I never quite liked as much as I think I could. for such a big simple toy it has very little articulation when compared to the other leader and Supreme toys of the period (ignoring the Armada Bricks)

Once again Google's translate of an actoys page brings forth brilliance!
>>> Look forward to ah!! >> Must be into the ah! > gdo What do you mean ah?
and...
>>Strong and pregnant women, OP >New demand official name
Although given Energon Prime's proportions, that last one makes a lot of sense!

Omega Supream looks really good, actualy. The new head and claw make all the difference. I had the Energon figure a while back before I sold him on, and it's a huge impressive figure.

I think they've slightly mucked the limb colours on the Prime: two should have been Prime body red while the last two should have been Prime leg blue.

Oh wow, that Omega Supreme actually looks amazing. Goes to show what a splash of clever colour can do to a mold. Dont' like his new claw though. It has four fingers!!

That is surprisingly nice!
I have no idea why, if they were going for G1 Omega Supreme, they gave him four claw 'fingers' rather than three though!!

Yeah the claw is an odd choice, but my main issue is the size of the head. I would rather have seen a larger head that just detached when it transformed and fitted on to somewhere else or give its a little set of tracks and call it a tank, which in itself would have been a nice little homage.

Forgot how fat looking that Energon Prime is without his drones. Omega Supreme head cocked to the side in combined mode is terrible.

I do like those colours on both those toys. I think they make a world of difference to Prime especially. Quite liking the look of them. Not sure that I like it enough to actually shell out the kind of money it will likely cost, but they do look good.

I keep looking at the Op. It's the maddest thing I have seen in ages. I think I must have it.
My GPS alert is going off though

Is five tapes with Soundwave the standard? Or has Ratbat snuck in there?

Okay. There's clearly something wrong with me. (Says the man who named himself "The Llama God".) I really want that Goat-themed Prime. Even though I've already got the Laser Rod Prime (from the re-issue a few years back), there's just something about that one. Soundwave, on the other hand, I'm definitely less keen on. Although he looks an awful lot better than the Linkin Park Soundwave. I think what'd make it for me would be seeing the robot modes of the cassettes...
But Goatimus Prime. How could I resist?

Similar, yes, but with a bit of relief from the caramel nightmare that is LP Soundwave.

*penny drops*
And now I realise why I'm interested in seeing the cassettes in their robot modes. Years ago, must've been the late 80s, I went in to a Woolworth's in Yeovil, and they had a number of knock-off minibots and cassettes which all had clear plastic parts and dubious paint schemes. I always regretted buying them, for some reason. And Goatwave's minions remind me exactly of them.
Now *that's* a Masterpiece! ;-)

I am definitely not sat here pondering whether getting a Goatwave to mix-and-match parts with MP Soundwave to create an MP Soundwave with some clear parts would be a good idea. Definitely not. Nuh-uh.
Send help.
