So anyway I suddenly realised Mario Galaxy is out soon and I hadn't preordered. Was going to go with Play but they don't have it availible. Though sendit do. Panic over.

Last week i traded in 4 of my Missus' DS games on her behalf, with the intention of getting MySims for her.
I had no intention of playing the game, it just didn't interest me at all.
Now i'm hooked! I spent 3 hours last night making pizza ovens and couches for a local pizzeria.

Super Mario Galaxy looks horrendously good - and I hope it actually is, after what Super Mario Sunshine turned out to be. But hey, optimism, everyone!

I actually don't see why people didn't like Mario Sunshine. I don't think it's anywhere near as good as Mario 64, but i still think it's a great little game. I applaud Nintendo for trying something different with the formula, even if it didn't fit the style of a Mario game.
I think if they took out the Mario element and gave the game to a new character, it would have done really well for itself. As it is, it's just overshadowed by it's bigger brothers in the franchise.
Mario Galaxy is getting bought next Friday.

MEH. The problem with Sunshine was that you were forced to collect the shines of a stage in a certain order. In SM64 you were free to collect the stars in a stage in any order if you could figure out what you needed to do. Other than that I thought it was a lot of fun (despite the odd annoying bit). Anyone else getting Endless Ocean (aka Forever Blue) tomorrow? Less than £20 and I'll need someone to go swimming with. ALSO... Winning Eleven / PRO EVO WII looks awesome! (except for shake nunchuck to shoot, wtf?) www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oJtVzSBa4I

I'm getting Endless Ocean for Christmas - I love the whole concept of the game. Looks like a great way to chill out.
One week today for Galaxy. I am so excited - I'm even taking a day off work to play it like a little sado. Can't remember being this excited about a game since Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time.

I have taken Thursday and Friday off as holidays, so that i can get things done on Thursday and spend Friday and the weekend immersed in Mario.
I'm only 25% through Metroid Prime 3, and i'm buying Mario. For shame.

I'm 50% through Metroid and I'll be dropping it like a stone if its not finished by Friday. And I'm also only a 3rd of the way through Paper Mario from the month before. Nintendo Europe release schedule for the Wii this year has been a shambles. What am I saying? It's always a shambles.

Downloaded the Mii Contest Channel today. What fun! Me and Leanne had a blast creating our entry for the contest.
Oh and I hope you like my screenie from Metroid, Jimbo. I unlocked the screenshot tool and throught I'd play around with it.

I hadn't been online with the Wii in an age, but did so to see what this screenshot was. Looks lovely John. I'll get around to Metroid when it's cheap enough! And yeah, the Mii contest thing looks interesting.

I was talking with a mate last night and he was telling me all about it. Since i don't have the internet running at home yet, I'll need to wait.
Who cares though? MARIO.

The feared day has arrived. I now have to buy an SD card for the Wii, 'cause i cannot download KoF'94 due to memory constraints.
Perhaps 12 VC games is too many anyways. So far I've spent nearly 60 quid on VC games.

You can download them again any time you like so you could just delete some games (and keep your saves). Then again SD cards at like 50p a pop these days (well £10-£15).
I've got more than 12 games (err 17 now I think) and I haven't ran out - you must have been downloading mostly N64 and NeoGeo games.

I've been a massive fan of shooting games for many years, but I fail to see how a plastic holder for the wiimote is going to make the experience any better. You're going to have to do better than that to convince me.

There's a rumour that the SD card limit will be increased to a mind-boggling 16GB when the new model is released in the next year.
In other news, the Wii has demonstrated my considerable unfitness (it's a word). I played on the Wii for 90 minutes last night and the muscles in my chest continued to ache this morning.
