I spit on this film. I spit on it. I think that is the ultimate act of hatred one can do unto something that doesn't involve getting your todger out or squatting. This film RUINS TERMINATOR. I will never see it.

How will you know it 'ruins Terminator' if you don't watch it? That is quite literally impossible.

I will never see it. Terminator still exists, unaltered and exactly as it was before this film was conceived of. Surely therefore if you do not like this film it can simply be ignored. Karl

I concur with Ralph. On this matter.

I watched the trailer for this earlier. What the fup? is this film retrofitting itself into the first two and going all Doctor Who on them with timey wimey Arnie stopping himself flubbery? recasting everyone into the bargain?
Isn't that asking a fair bit of the audience to have to remember the first two films in precise detail to understand the narrative of this one? Quite a surprise. I liked the first two Terminators, and Salvation had a certain charm that Rise lost, but this seems a rather bizarre way of going about matters.

The original film is getting a limited re-release in cinemas in the next few weeks (depending on where you are). Really looking forward to seeing it on the big screen.

Yep, I have a booking made for it. It remains one of my favourite James Cameron films of all time (yes, ahead of all the usual suspects), so it'll be great to see it in the environment it was intended for.

Oh and Genisys can go #%@£ itself with a huge £€#%@ and die whilst it's at it.

Does anything happen in this film or is it like 2,3 where the end nothing has happened no Judgement day. At least 4 something happened with it set at a different point in time & not present day. They need to keep the reset button away from the writers.

I will still watch the film as it's a Terminator film.
I picked up the Blu ray set of 1-4 and binge watched them last week. 1 is still the best, 2 was the extended edition which was flabby and needed cut back to the theatrical one. 3 held up surprisingly well. Salvation was still a mess.

1 is brilliant and blew my fruits off. 2 is pretty darn good and was a lot of fun. 3 does hold up pretty well, but ultimately poops all over 2. Salvation... I honestly couldn't tell you anything about it, just unmemorable, except the awesome bit where young Arnie appears. I came alittle when the doors opened and there was 1980s Terminator...

Great to see the original film on the big screen. Unusually there was an usher on hand, which meant I was able to have a word when I noticed it wasn't being projected properly at the start so the problem was solved very quickly.

I've seen a different trailer that does the Give me your clothes scene in full with the plot reveal from the trailer at the end. I'd watch the film just to see that play out.

T5 day is...today! Seeing it later.
I find the Terminator films so far are like the original run of the Planet of the Apes: first film is a peerless stone-cold classic that can be watched endlessly and still feel fresh, first sequel was amazing first time I saw it and though it hasn't aged as well and is never as good as the first viewing is still a damned good film...and thereafter what we have are films which are steadily less interesting but still have enough of that 'x' factor to be entertaining.
Will Genisys follow the Apes pattern?

Yes... but... Emilia Clarke... OK, it wasn't very scary (or at all) but I knew it was a 12-rated film going in, and have always seen the Terminator franchise as being about constantly changing timelines. I had a few decent laughs. And I like a happy ending. Martin

I don't care what the certificate of a film is. I just enjoy quality scripting and directing. This has neither. Just a crap film.
