TM2 Megatron & Tigerhawk (I love the look of these two in both modes, they've always been my favourites) Big Convoy (No articulation in alt mode, but the robot is one of the best, plus that gun!!) and Silverbolt (My first TF as an adult collector)
Erm... Not sure about the last one.

Been looking into folkes' choices. Cool cool figs! How big is Big Convoy? Galvatron looks ace! And how chunky are Optimal Optimus's arms! Great toys. How available are these babies today? Am I looking at a kidney apiece or what?

The robot and drill tank modes are pretty compact compared to the dragon, which is all spread out and funky. Also, it has cannons on its knees.

I got Heinlad for about 12gbp off ebay about a year ago. Joy. Id forgotten about the scrotum.
Had a couple of BW2 Galvatrons from auction lots off Yahoo Japan. Pretty cool but not my thing.
Big Convoy is great got one of them but it was missing its tail so sold it on.

Another one I got in a couple of mixed lot auctions (i sold one complete part and another piece of one then got another a few weeks later - complete enough to make the robot form - that could have been complete with the one I sold, bit annoying) and it is cool but also kinda squat. Not quite as elegant as Tripredacus and Magnaboss.
Another good Japanese one is th Giraffe, forgotten the name but it is very cool.

Giraffe, that's Longrack isn't it? It got one of him in the loada free stuff I got off the splendid Barricade. He's ace. Looks like a king!
Magmatron's 'combined' beast mode is a bit weird looking, almost, well, rude! But the rest of him... WANT WANT WANT!!!
You know, being that I've only gotten into Beast Wars recently, it's like discovering a whole new world! I barely knew existed! Great great line of toys, and characters.

Stampy and Break? Weapons? Still not sure 'bout the rabbit... something a bit Monty Python 'bout him...
Thanks for the links Phil. I'm holding you personaly responsible for me now having spent 30 squid on a Magmatron from ToyArena in the US! Mrs Shockprowl will be 'round to exact revenge upon you! (30 squids not bad for a Magmatron is it? According to my resurch.)

Yes! Back of the Net! In one day I've gone from not even realising a toy of him existed, to becoming obsessed about the toy and printing off loadsa pics of him, to ordering one from the US! God I love Transformers!

That's how it sucks you in. I should warn you about Magmatron, though- he's a bit of a pain transformation-wise. The first run through will take you a while.

Stampy and Break? Weapons? Still not sure 'bout the rabbit... something a bit Monty Python 'bout him... According to my resurch.) Ian. Stampy is a work of pure genius as far as I'm concerned. One of the "Beast Wars Second" toys I have hung onto through the process of slimming down my collection. And having once owned a Magmatron I can honestly say that Nick is quite correct - the first couple of run throughs of the transformation will require a certain degree of patience. Karl

Yes, sorry - you're not a coward you are just very cautious- that is actually quite appropriate. Karl

To all the wise members of the Hub. I've confussed myself somewhat over Tripredacus/ The Tripredacus Council. I've read the entry on Wiki, but only being new to the wonderfull world of Beast Wars and never having seent he cartoon, I'm not really understanding who he is.
Bascially, this is how I understand it. Tripredacus IS The Tripredacus Council. The 3 members that combine to form Tripredacus (Cicadacon, Ramhorn and Sea Clamp) are infact the coucil. So are these three guys the ruleing body of the Predacons? Do they out rank Megatron? Don't we see Sea Clamp early on in The Gathering, comming out of the sea? Have we ever seen the 3 individuals as the council, or is it the super robot?
I thank the wise folke of the Hub in advance.

In terms of his the "Beast Wars" TV show I believe it was originally intended that the Tripredacus Council members were going to be the characters that make up Tripredacus. However, as they couldn't afford to develop any further detailed character models on the budget they had, they opted to use some generic models they had on hand and the script was amended so that none of the characters was referenced by name. So whilst there had been an intention that the Tripredacus Council and the Tripredacus toy would have mapped across, in the show as aired the Council are just three random Predacons in a room on a space station.
In terms of the toys Tripredacus was described as being a "battle master", and was spotted at 10 on the rank scale - the same as Megatron.
Not sure if that is any help...
Karl
