Mean to reply to this yesterday. Those look awesome. In a kind of... they should be bad but they're not, kind of way. I'm hoping that STL pull through and drop a load of these in B&M next year.
Especially that Megatron. Original colour scheme head! These are strange, strange days in which we live.

Having just taken ownership of CW Leader Thundercracker, I'm really keen to see these Cyber Series toys now. Thundercrackers suffers from being simplified, whilst also trying to maintain previous "Leader" quality. The Cyber guys don't care - they're just simple. And, I'd imagine, are probably more value for money. Definitely intrigued.

One of these days I would quite like to see these guys in the plastic. Looking at our good Mr Turnbull's photos they do look like rather fun toys, and aesthetically I really like the look. (Megatron's assault-gun mode is a lot of fun - different, whilst still managing to homage the days when he was a tank, and I genuinely thing that Prime looks better than any of the NewRiD Primes I've seen so far.

I'm still not convinced by them in pictures. I need to see them in the plastic.

I have had a shot of Andu's. Let the judgements be made:
-Megatron. Utter crap. Fell apart in my hands in less than 5 seconds of play. Alt mode is a silver turd with a penis. Poundland quality.
-Smaller Optimus: quite fun though not needed if you have the wee Legends Prime from a few years ago but I still liked it.
-Big Prime: a bit rubbish and yet I could not put it down. Fun but I don't know why. The length and placement of the smokestacks annoy me intensely though.
-Starscream: the winner of the bunch. Great fun, feels like Pretender Starscream inner robot, lovely colours, good plane mould and nicely non-smirking head mould.
If these were on sale in the UK at the right price-point they would do well (ie less than deluxe and voyager price-points). If priced more than the regular TF's they would bomb and quite right too. Overall though, a good attempt at a cheapo/basic version of Transformers. Except for Megatron, which can go die in a fire. If I saw them on a shelf I'd get Starscream. Maybe big Prime too.

We established that Megatron was loose cos the Kaptain had been bad. I fixed it so it was not loose. So that is a falsehood.

Fell apart when I tried later. Awful toy. The others are fun though.

It's still sturdy. Had a play with him earlier before I restored him to the shelf.
Though I do agree Starscream is the most fun. Big Prime is tops. The smokestacks are similar to PM Prime's smaller cab robot.

Smokestacks should go on outer part of the arm, not the inner!

I remain surprised this line did not get a Western release as a cheaper end filler line.

The Megs is, I think, great fun. He has a kind of early-eighties feel to him somehow - I can easily see him as the Megatron of UK#1. His artillery mode is rather fun too. It has a nice chunky aesthetic to it - looking ideal for sitting behind the front-lines and shrugging off counterbattery fire while it rains down destruction on tanks, fragile human infantry and lesser artillery alike. (At the moment he is standing on my fridge, bristling with Energon weapons surplus from the DOTAMAN Aerialbots.
